After pearl Harbour, many Americans looked at those of Japanese descent with distrust, some where sent to incarceration camps, however, in 1943, Franklin D. Roosevelt activated the 442nd, which comprised of Japanese descents.
The 442nd fought in Italy till the end of the war.
what would be unique about this squad
The main thing that’s unique is that they would have access to all the Japanese faces, and any future ones.
Now, I’ll admit that I have no clue on what this squad should have as a weapon, but I was thinking it could be a 5 men squad that can use any weapon available. Although that might be too over powed. If you have e any suggestions, I’ll gladly listen to them.
Premium or event?
I was thinking that this squad could be an event squad for a future Italian event reward. However, I wouldn’t mind if it’s a premium squad though. It will have a engineer though

Yes to adding the squad with Japanese faces and height, but no to Japanese voice lines. I would not want this squad to cause confusion with that.
While the 442 was in italy and served with great effect they were explicitly forbidden from participating on the pacific front which kinda is an Issue as half of the matches you would play would violated that order.
In this case it isnt just people beeing in a theater they dont belong but people beeing and a theater they dont belong and additionally expreslly forbidden from beeing there.
I would like to counter this by saying that we already have volkssturm in Tunisia and every other campaign instead of Berlin thanks to the premium partisan squad, however it is a premium, limited, meaning it could be rare to see in the battlefield.
As well as Chinese in every map too.
At least the chinese where not forbidden from participating in any of the othere theaters.
If any of the members of the 442 tried to got to the pacific I would not be suprised if he would have been court mashalled and possibly shot for treason.
As much as I hate the chinese in normandy I dont think that the allies would have rejected that kind of help if it was offered.
They should have TT weapons so we can swap them to whatever we want. For such a highly regarded unit, we should be able to play them with their historical gear. I can’t use them if they have some bs weapon
