Currently, when equipping, for example, a MP-40 to an assault, the character doesn’t receive a Mp-38/40 ammo pouch. And weirder, when you give someone a larger ammo pouche, for germany it’s the Gewehr 43, it shows up instead od being something else that soldier uses.
So, I suggest that when we equip our soliders with a gun, they get the corresponding ammo pouch to match.
The reason why I think this should happen is for more historical authenticity and accuracy, cause like I said earlier, I think it’s weird why someone with a MG34 has Gewehr 43 ammo pouchs instead of those 50 round drum mags. Like shown in this photo.

Those ammo pouchs would also change with your gun, for example, if you bought an German Greatcoat with kar98k ammo pouch, it would changes to, for example, an Stg-44 mag pouch if you use a gun that take the Stg-44 mag. And thise with a side arm would only change the ammo pouch off to the side. Machine guns that uses belts would have their ammo belt on the soldier’s shoulder, shown in this drawing

Or around their neck like this historical photo
Guns like the MP-41(r) and Viper mk 3 would use the Mp-38/40 mag pouches, similar to the Japanese thompsons which would use a 30 round mag pouch for the 1928A1 and 20 round for the 1921 (20), while guns with belts would uses ammo belts to match their caliber, and bolt actions like the Gewehr 98 war time mod would use the. As show in this photo.

If you ha e two guns that use different ammo pouchs, then it’ll only show your primary gun but you’ll still have ammo for your second one.
They will still function the same as before, but will instead add more ammo pouchs. Small gives your guy one more, while the large gives you 2 more.
With what I said and stated, I hope you all support my idea.
- Yes, this should be implemented
- No, this shouldn’t be implemented
- I don’t care
- Yes but with some changes
