Giving Germany a new Br 3 SMG, the MP-28 with 50 rounds

  • Yes, I would like to see the MP-28 woih 50 round mag add to Germany’s TT
  • No, I don’t want to see the MP-28 with 50 round mag added to Germany’s TT or at all
  • Yes, I would like to see the MP-28 with 50 round mag as an EVENT gun
  • I’m in your walls (I don’t care)

The MP-28 needs no introduction as it’s one of the first SMG you’ll get in the german TT, however as you all may know that there’s a different variant with a 32 round mag, but incase you Guys and Gals didn’t (or did) know was that there’s a 50 round variant. As shown by some evidence of its existence and usage.

Now, here what I theorize the statsof the 50 round MP-28would be

Damage: 5.7 (6.8 when fully upgraded)
Muzzle velocity (m/sec): 400
Rate of fire per minute: 550 (630 when fully upgraded)
Reload time (sec): 3.6 ( 3.2 when fully upgraded)
Shot deviation: 84 (71 when fully upgraded)
Recoil control (%): 70
Vertical recoil: 29 (26 when fully upgraded)
Horizontal recoil: 13 (11 when fully upgraded)
Feed system: 50-round mag
Weight (kg): 5.0
Sprint factor (%): 100
Cartridge mass (kg): 11.2
Firing modes: Auto, Semi-auto

Now then, on to main question of why add it?

Why it should be a TT gun

  1. Although it’s a bad choice when compared to the Beretta M38A 40, it’s extra 10 rounds might come in handy in a close situation.

  2. It was historical used, but in br 1, it’s rarely used in game by better SMGs. So why not give it new life in Br 3?

That’s all I have so far. Hopefully you guys and gals support it!

This is a suggestion for germany…as stated in the title… And the Japanese one isn’t chamber in 9mm

More pointing out its at BR2 and not at BR3 like your suggesting.

Well, I don’t mind if it’s moved to br 2. Or if it’s an event gun.

That’s because japan is neglected mentally deficient red headed step child of this game and gets to have that luxury. Suggest such thing for anyone else and they will be up in arms.

The German version would persumably be chambered in 9mm and thus have higher damage.

IE, a Lanchester 50, in other words (the Lanchester is literally a MP 28 copy, so the similarities are not unfounded :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:).

Of all things, Japan bias is a new one. Like dont get me wrong, a couple great things in that tree, but not much.

But yes as others said, 9mm presumably meaning higher damage, makes sense.

something that came to my mind in the past few days:
MP28 and Sten/Lanchester magazines are compatible with eachother.
You can load an MP28 with Sten magazine and vice versa, so you can load the MP28 with 50 round Lanchester magazine too naturally.

However, you could also load a 20 round MP28 magazine in a Sten (any variant), Lanchester or Patchett. I never seen anyone do this, because why would you do this?
But its theoretically possible that someone would do it. (BR1 Lanchester or Patchett, anyone?)

Well, I mean, you could, but it still fires slower than the PPS-43, let alone the PPSh-41 and the PP Uragan. A big magazine doesn’t solve everything. Stat-wise, it seems worse than the Beretta Model 38A. Probably better to have a 3-shot-kill SMG with a much higher rate of fire. At least until they remove the cuirass resistance anyway.

No, nothing to worry about.

You do realise that Germany plays against the US too….? You’re so caught up in your Soviet bias BS that you completely negate a whole other faction.

Since the Japanese already have a BR2 50 round magazine MP-28 then a German version should also be BR2. If it were going to be BR3 then it should have a significant ROF increase.

Pretty sure the argument was that the German MP28 does more damage so that’s why it would be in BR 3.

Don’t quote me on that because I’m not home to check.

?
Isn’t the mp28 a br1 smg at the moment? You don’t see it because ppl use mp34 instead, but I’m certain it’s here in br1 with a small mag?

50 rounds mp28 is br2 worthy imo.
