Remember the long “negotiation” period where everyone who had the stalingrad pack had to keep bugging the devs to address the consequences of the merge, and the benefits the pack provided.
It was nice and quiet when the devs made a statement saying, and I quote:
We propose a compromise: after the release of the major update, in one or more events, we will provide the opportunity to obtain four promotional engineer squads, one for each country, with the unique feature of being able to use upgradable assault rifles.
The squads for the USSR and Germany will be among the most valuable prizes - you’ll have to try and play Enlisted regularly to get them. But the owners of the Stalingrad Full Access will get these two squads immediately, which will allow them to continue playing the event in great comfort and without hurry with the honored engineers “on board”.
Only to pull the “yeah, you actually get it 1 week after the event ends. lmao” card.

And that they’re also possibly mad as well for some particular reason
So overall people who buy these packs at the release of a new campaign should at least get what they owed because if it wasn’t for them we wouldn’t be here.
so some particular animal sees this people who buy things in the beginning should get what they’re owed.

What is that supposed to mean in regards to the topic above?
He’s lazily trying to justify why they didn’t give the squads to the full access pack owners immediately.

I hope by what he means by “changes are not final” he means that they are currently sorting it out and everyone entitled will get their squads early as promised.

I wouldn’t hold out hope, in the announcement for the event they mentioned that the full access pack owners will get the squads within a week after the event.
Euthymia even doubled down saying that whenever they say changes are not final means they can change anything.

I commend your hope, but when it comes to this, I think the developers and helpers could care less what we think.

Its not about if devs care or not for me. To a certain extent they do care. If the game fails its not good for them too.
That said its more about the consistency and how sensitive the topic is. Stalingrad pack owners paid money for a pack under certain conditions. Subject to changes maybe but this is bigger than “ things are not final”. Its about a compromise that was agreed by both parts and yet one part seems to “manipulate” the agreement. Its about ethic and following with the word. Trustworthiness.
I am super flexible on “ things are not final” but situations like this one or premium apc to be “fix later” its what crosses the line. We might be guinea pigs for data collection but the community deserves respect. Player support this project with either their time or money or both!. Please DF/GJ be considerate

I would be fine if they say we only get the squads when they are available to unlock for the free players.
But having to wait for a week until entire event is over is crappy.
I understand things change but the committment on the engineers was a compromise for paying players for when stalingrad disappeared. It was not a committment out of thin air.
I would probably be less annoyed if the reply was more understanding instead of “we never actually signed a blood pact so it’s not valid”

Man, I wish I was a game dev so I can use “Changes are not final” to misrepresent my statements and unilaterally change my obligations.
