I’d like to see this somewhere on the roadmap.
I’m pretty sure even in few years from now this game won’t have a decent UI. But, if you give us the API, Gaijin, we can at least do something useful about it ourselves in the meantime.
Right now, managing soldiers and browsing through squads is an absolute chore and every time I do it I feel like I’m wasting my time. Sadge
Just the fact that you can’t filter all your soldiers by one class and tag them - like “train” these ones, “reroll” these ones, “trash” these ones, etc - is pretty much killing me. And that is just a tip of the iceberg of soldier management issues.
Same goes for the weapons, etc. For instance, I want to know how many M1 Garand guns I have in total and who carries them. Too many times I find myself thinking “Where the heck did all my guns go…”.
I understand the devs may have other priorities than making a fully-featured UI. Fine. Just give us the API then, please.
No. Welcome to post such suggestion about UI here. But open API means a lot, that need serious discussion, also about the necessary.
