Give us the ability to message people in friends list to get a group going

I mean this is simple crap DF. All it shows is “player online.” Not in a game, not idle, not available. It’s so frecking annoying trying to invite someone when you dont even know if they are in a game or not. Let us message them to while they are in the game (playing a match or not). So people can get stuff organized.
