i think it’s good that the OLD lf it’s back. ( since many threads has been made about it )
i’m sad that the hardcore is gone.
but,
custom games will hopefully provide us such options.
Unfortunately “custom mode” don’t sounds like something that allow you to earn XP (look at war thunder). And we don’t have it now.
from what i recall, you can earn xps.
it’s even in the main thread that mentioned those.
nah it’s true. true as in custom lobby will be coming soon (hopefully)
i wonder how much xp player will get, will that be the same or what. could be exploited if you can just invite your friend and gain as much score as you can.
i mean, to be honest, as long you’re playing the game, that’s what it should matter.

i honestly hope that i will be able to create coop from it. or normal PVE.
( as i’m quite getting sick of PVP )
like, invite a few friends, and play together against bots for fun ( so they can improve a bit while earning something as some sort of new comer gamemode ) or simple coop with one team made of players and the other of bots. create berlin defence against more enemies, and many other cooler scenarios.
above all ( at least from me, ) i wish to be able to lock slots so that i can make guides a bit easier and get footage for my upcoming projects. ( just like portal from BF 2042 if not better )
although generally more PVE content home-made. it’s getting tiring of carry people that does not what objective is, stomping people, having to deal with rats around every corner, facing panthers, jumbos, t70s and stuff like that. i’m generally saturated with it.

Are you really “playing the game” when you don’t have half the classes, don’t have most weapons and vehicles (and what you have is intentionally weaker) and don’t have no-recoil perks, though? Because that’s what it means to play with no XP gain.
why do you all think that custom matches will gain no xps what so ever.

In all seriousness, custom matches might be very easy to abuse which would mean that this or that side would intentionaly be in advantage. For exact same reason WTs custom lobbies do not offer any research points (aka exp).
How it will be handled here is yet to be seen, however.

I don’t think that. It’s just that the “experience doesn’t matter, just have fun playing the game” attitude doesn’t work. Not when the game is built around getting experience. I’m not against progression, just pointing out that the rate at which you’re getting EXP is important.

True, however, it took and still takes plenty of inspiration from there. Including both good and bad features.
From which it can be assumed that this might be no exception.
well, as i play both games, there are some similarities, but i’m glad that enlisted ( for me ) it’s actually 10 times better 
Enlisted indeed feels to be superior to Suffer Thunder in terms of fun.
As for whether this lobby system will end up copied from WT or not, only future can tell. But if I were a betting man, then I would say that this is one of the features that will most likely end up copied as well.
