Please the High Calibre update gave us pilots a reason to fly again, I had and others had fighters in line up, all because a few tankers didn’t want to move to cover… give us a reason to fly again, otherwise we go back to CAS and bomber spam, which will be much worse!

All figther can do Cas role, outside tunisia, figther are used as secondary Cas plane if the Cas slot is already used

90% of matches with no planes would like to introduce themselves.
Literally suicide bombers everywhere still, gl shooting them down, easier to last hit with infantry

Didn’t they just make it much more viable for fighters to go take on the bombing runs? Isn’t that exactly what they’re for in enlisted?
Better dont have plane, in 3 campaign on 6 are totally usless

The infantry elitist players seem to think since this game revolves around infantry than it should be infantry only and anything else is OP. That’s what I’m seeing.

Okay…this is like your 7th comment about this change. We get it.

You’re not happy. Why don’t you let them collect their data during the event (isn’t it at least intelligent that they make changes before the player base balloons so they can get a good data set to look at?) and then I’m sure, like the concussion effects (and other issues from the past) they’ll look at usage/complaints/statistics and go from there.
Just to reiterate: No one is making anyone do anything. If you don’t take a fighter out, that’s on you (you means the person playing, not you specifically, Widow). If you take a CAS plane/bomber, same deal. Same thing with rifle grenade spam, explosive pack spam, all the behaviours people do in this game.
A lot of these complaints are more about the “meta” than about the mechanics. Us forums users and the content creators and the rest of the loud, vocal minority are the ones who set “the meta.” Meanwhile, a lot of people are running around just playing the game without all this drama…maybe there’s something we can learn from that.
I don’t blame the devs for not engaging more with this shit show of a forum. Barely 2 hours after a change is announced and this place is apoplectic about all the “what-ifs” and “will-dos”. Every. Single. Time. The names change but the whinging remains the same (also the title of an unreleased Led Zeppelin concert film).

As of 7 hours ago they made the bomber runs easier to shoot down. You have a reason to fly again.

Yesterday i shoot down more bombing run planes in one game than in my whole day playing today.
One guy used it once, got hit with 8 min cooldown and never did it again.

And the change affect only people wo spam bomber and arty putting their soul in it, im amezed this time i never thinked that people gonna be aganaist an anti-spammer measure

This is just punishing solo players.
Also as they are more rare, less people will bring fighters.

Yada yada all this talk are about someone has lost his xp farm for kill bomber do you think a normal player care of this?
A normal solo player call the support and move on, if him play with friend they call support in rotation
