there’s perfectly good armor available in the editor that can be applied to these squads. Obviously the USA assault engineers should either get the body armor or the armored helmet, not both at once.

maybe not that helmet but the armor yes
I’d imagine it would be the same as Germany’s armored helmet on their assault engineers
Yessssss plzzzzz.
I would like to see something like that. Would be a very easy thing for them to implement, and something very fun for the player base. Those are the event squads I have used most often, especially on high BR (low BR with cheeky German BRII assault rifle of course)
The body armor would be better, as its WW2, the helmet you posted looks very WW1 and deserves only to be an obtainable cosmetic once such thing will ever be made for Enlisted
The fur winter hat for germany was… event bp i cannot remember.
yes I know, but it was rather a bad way of doing things, I think a better system could be made like those long term tasks they mentioned, would be fun to get something nice for reaching certain milestones
Yeah that was a wierd BP. I kinda liked it though, wish they were a bit more creative with the rewards. Despite the fur hat being rather meh
Only once the soviet body armor be removed and only available for their assault engineers would I agree.
How about this:
Both helmet and body armour is added for the squad,
But,
The MRC body plates become common cosmetic items in the Bulge and Normandy campaigns (comparable usage to Soviet body armour in Europe by the Commonwealth 21st Army Group, their sole ground formation from Normandy-onwards in France/Germany/Low Countries, issued body armour equal to roughly 1.5% of the ca 1 mil soldiers that were a part of it).
Seems fair…? I think the MRC should be a common cosmetic, because it it’s comparable prominence, even if it is generally forgotten today.
