Why does the tech-tree P-40 have one fewer 500 lb bomb than the premium one? Is this pay-to-win?

It is also worth mentionning that the soviet variant that can be found in the tech tree has a 250 kg bomb and two 50 kg ones.
I don’t know if I have ever seen a US P-40 in a regular match (either premium or tech tree), but the soviet one is a rather common sight.
Thats not true it has 2x100kg and a 250 kg no bias at all

Hell no. I paid for that variant… and compared to other nations they face specifically german or japan it’s not balanced.
However yes… the soviet one does have similair payload.
Wow, I never noticed, I always thought it had the same bomb load as the IAR…

I play it since I have the Battle pass but it has huge payload xD
Well i paid for BF 109E7/U2 so you still have extra squad slot to use so there is no need for P2W the game is already too much P2W.

Same, the blue P-40 is my go-to soviet BR2 plane, but I always thought these were 50 kg.

Its not its same bombs as the Yak-1 hope La-5Fn gets same 2x100 kg bombs since it makes no sense to be BR III and the BR I plane have bigger bombs. The devs give bombs at random some planes have crazy payload the others some super small bombs without some crazy performance to compensate.

Emperor, I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but recently my comrades in the Empire and I have noticed an absurd resistance to explosives in Soviet KVs. I don’t recall this being the case before, as even a well-placed TNT charge used to stop them. But even TNT with a detonator seems to be ineffective lately. The lack of anti-tank weaponry is very noticeable in the Imperial Army.
So… Why Germany haves so many planes without a single bomb? Even more… In high BRs

Well mainly in BR III and BR IV and some in BR V. But over all mostly BR III and BR IV are the problematic BRs for Germany payloads but still better then Japan that has no aircrafts at all in BR I,BR II and BR III. BR III is almost good since it has one good fighter but no variety at all so you cant combine different aircrafts like with other nations and BR I and BR II are absolutely dead.

It would be good to see a Japanese twin-engine fighter with good bombs or a HEAT cannon; the J5N1, for example, is an option, but only if it includes at least one bomb. It would be like the BF110 G2, which is good, but its performance isn’t up to the BR4 standard.

I swear they should really fix that as well, particularly the BR3-4 planes which are more often than not lacking.
The only ones that have bombs are mostly the ground attack one’s, and probably is just a excuse to call it ground attack since they really are bad for dogfight, the fighters with bombs are relatively weak with just 50 to 100 KG bombs and 20mm guns, some of them are in a “bit” too high BR for the capacity too, i like the BF110 G2 but is just useless in a BR with jets and very fast fighters
They should have released it long ago. Japan already has two fighters carrying 250kg bombs at BR3.
Voted yes because it does need a 3rd bomb. But if the devs want to keep the premium unique, they could at the very least give it a 250 lbs bomb

It means that we just need a good ground attacker now, the KI-102 series could work, or the KI-44-II
Indeed it is for Japan, but it could take several years for other countries.
Well, there’s a lot of guns and vehicles that needs a re-balance in their BR, especially some planes in BR3/4
