Agree, I can one or two shot Pz2, Pz3B and E but it is impossible to pen the Pz38t and 4, even from the side, while they can kill me pretty easily.

Can’t even use the shrapnel shell as a shrapnel shell it’s just a sucky tank all round, it’s more of a big machine gun boat than anything.

Well as a big fan of this unpolished turd, I still manage to kill other tanks semi-regularly with it. PzII is easy. Pz 38t for some reason I don’t meet that often anymore. Pz III is harder but feasible as they are overconfident, but I mostly try to avoid them and make them come to me: At closer range I can do things. You have to bait them to a place where they have to cross an obstacle that will make them go up then down. Not easy.
But it’s just an infantry killer anyway.
I’ve died frontally from the 28 in my 38t plenty of times.
As far as I am aware of, use HE and hit the turret ring, it activates overpressure and 1 hit kills the tank.

No, there’s a literal like 6 inch spot it can pen with the shrapnel shell below your gun.

If we give the T-28 APHE, we should also give stuff like the Pz2 HVAP, Pz3/Pz38t APCR, etc. Of course, those ammo types should only be given in limited quantities, like maybe 15-20% of the total ammo capacity, to allow those tanks to deal with tougher targets without sacrificing historical rarity of those ammo types.

True, and 10% would still be a very respectable amount of ammo for most of these tanks.

And APCR is a dogshit round outside of flat pen and too many trogs would try to bring it and use it because it has more pen.
So an ammo limit on that would help our less mentally capable friends.

Not that I am aware of, both the Panzer 3 and 38t can be 1 hit killed with overpressure it seems.
You can sling 76mm HE under the Panzers to kill them
The T-28 can pen the PzIIIs just fine
There is a weak point that the Shrapnel shell can pen underneath the 38’s gun
You cannot sling HE into the superstructure and kill it as far as I’ve tried
Overpressure is not modeled as far as I’m aware since this is based off older WT shit not the current stuff

Giing the Pz 2 HVAP is pointless - it can already penetrate every Soviet tank before the T-50, as can all the 37mm guns…
Basically every German tank can kill every soviet tank (mostly) easily and players whining when the it is even suiggested that soviet tanks might possibly get the same back at them is pathetic.

Buy BA-11. T-28 is funy against inf and braindead Panzer IIs (99% of their users) but at the end you have a big fat tank with paper armor and the six crew members will mostl likely get insta rekt by the Panzer IIIs ad IVs and the Stuka spamers anyway.
BA-11 is small(er), faster, has a bugged hitbox and a nice cannon though that shitty car didnt even saw action in Moscow.
Hitbox on the Ba-11 is fine

Actually one way of “fixing” the T-28 without causing so many wheraboo tears might be to make it the 1938 model that WT recently introduced with the short howitzer 76mm - it’s APHE only has 37mm pen at 0 deg and 10m!!
