I currently feel along with some other players in the twitch community that the U2, is at a massive disadvantage in the game, The biplane is so slow. by the time you get to the area it is kind of hopeless since the battle objective may have moved already. also reload point should be moved closer, The plane is so slow, your better off ditching the plane instead of flying back to reload for this squad… One last thing that is my main gripe with the U2, is that it is incapable of doing what it was meant to do in game, Bomb things. What the U2 needs is a Buff with the strength of the air frame, because it makes bombing things extremely difficult without braking into pieces.
Lastly why I think these Changes should be made with U2 Squad? well this will make the premium squad actually worth using. because other planes in game do not have these issues.
I understand people want realism, but when you have a plane as slow and useless as the U2, I think they should even the playing field a bit for this plane…

this a premium squad so no it does not apply to all of them, i literally talked about this with content creators who are partnered with gaijin and darkflow. it is very possible to fix the issues with this plane, by making a special spawn point for this plane on every map. and reload spot. sure the dev’s would have to do a lot of work. but thats kinda there job lol.
Who would have thunk that a plane more suited for crop dusting then military service would be horribly slow.
I would agree something needs to be done in general, when a slow plane has to fly the same distance as a Jet, taking damn near half a minute to reach the reload in a slow plane as opposed to only seconds in the Jet or fighter plane.

I think this rare, discontinued collector plane really deserves two special buffs.
First, remove the AA lead indicator circle for it, just like in real life — let players aim manually.
Second, since it’s so slow, give all biplanes a shared closer respawn or supply point near the frontline.
Well, historically speaking, that’s exactly how it was — this plane was meant to operate under the cover of night.
No one would fly it out in broad daylight on an active battlefield. That’s why right now it’s pretty much useless and redundant.
I saw it brought back to the store before, and it was even labeled as a collector plane.
The difference is, in War Thunder, the Po‑2 can actually be used to seal club — flying super slow to bomb tanks accurately.
But here in Enlisted, its kill efficiency is way lower than just sniping one target every five seconds.
Even an MG 13 could probably damage its engine and shoot it down.
As you mentioned, the collection squad only provides an extra experience bonus and doesn’t have any special advantages. The only thing that can be confirmed is that this biplane is a hero combat unit among Soviet equipment, nothing more.
