The UK vs Italy even it highlighting the poor state of this vehicle - with no MG and no HE it has very limited usefulness - certainly the APHE is great at this BR - but no more so than the T-28 is, so it is not like 75/76mm HE is too powerful for BR2!!
It gets HE in War Thunder, so presumably the capability is there, just needs implementing

Only someone who has never used 75mm HE would not ask for HE for the Semovente - you are just showing your ignorance. You’ve been playing Enlisted for how long and you don’t realise HE is BETTER at killing infantry than AP??
Sure it can kill infantry - but with smaller HE filling comes smaller blast area and a more difficult kill.

I prefer him stay in BR1 without HE than in BR2 with HE, He’s fine as he is at the moment, just shoot at the infantry which kills several soldiers
Specifically for the 75/18, the AP shells are similar to the HE shells of other tanks. This is one of the rare tanks, if not the only one, whose AP shells function like HE shells.
This is one of the best tanks in BR1, maybe even the best one, and you want to improve it, right?
In Tunisia campaign, the Semovente used to be equipped with HEAT… miss those times. was quite fearsome for a TD without defensive mg…
Really? Man, there was so much stuff in Tunisia that got axed, like the Duck with the 37mm. I can’t find any footage of it with HEAT round unfortunately, but it seems like a really fun TD to use if it did.
It’s APCBC have similar splash as 45mm HE

How much pen does HEAT even have? Historically it was able to penetrate Matilda and Valentine - so I would guess under 100? Over 100 seems too much for a BR1 vehicle - but something like 80 isnt crazy at all for BR1 considering it has no armor, no MG and is a SPG.
I’d prefer them to stop being lazy and give us more Italian tanks, it’s not like they’re limited with choices considering Italy gets their own tech tree in War Thunder

No - same HEAT if it had any, much less pen for APCBC, faster reload - no reason to make it BR2 at all
Yeah, I suggested this a while back, it really needs HE because of its lack of a MG, however even if they decide to make it BR 2, imo it would do just fine as rn it’s my Italian BR 2 tank and I do good in it. If they gave it HE and HEAT, moved it up to BR 2, and then maybe had the 75/18 M41 take its place in BR 1, I would be fine with that. Not saying that’s what they should do, just that could be an option and it would give us another Italian tank and also give us one at BR 2.
