Give the Sd.Kfz.251/1 the mg 42 100 model and give it back its 100rd

With one of the most recent updates they have made an unannounced change on a premium vehicle, while i find this a massive slap in the face i’m willing to overlook as it was modeled with the drum.

So… i suggest giving it the model from mg 42 100 and just hanging a belt off the side

Regardless if they “buffed” it alongside the nerf with a cooldown adjustment which mind you should have been how it is anyway this is changing what people paid for and is a lazy solution to a problem

As another poster mentioned the mounted MGs despite having 50 rd mag have unlimited ammo along with the infamous stinger having 200rd in 100rd box along with 15rd mkb in 10 rd mag… why have you chosen to out of the blue adjust a premium vehicle?

I assume that even though it ‘overheats less’ now, the volume of fire is on the down-low anyway, because now you have to factor in the reload. Delaying of the overheating would be perferable.

Literally the first sentence is incorrect.

Not to mention. It had 150 “mag” capacity, not 100.

A separate version with 100 round belts and some other changes could be added instead.

And get half the squad? It can only fit half the people in a vehicle a good deal smaller

The universal carrier seems to be able to handle this limitation.

Hm… in which case i digress… this seems to be over 100 which i didn’t notice.

Point still stands however.

Would you like to show me where they announced it?

What if we gave Sd.Kfz 251 MG34 with 100 rounds belt instead? Less ROF, could be the un-nerfed version compared to standard infantry used MG34 and would fit in early war campaigns more.

that should be for TT

Alas, is it true that the Stingray’s ammunition capacity is only 100 rounds? I think 200 rounds would be much better. But the reason why both the MG42 and MG34 on this vehicle have a 50-round capacity is that carrying 100 rounds for the infantry would be too heavy. But if you’ve already put it on the vehicle, you don’t need to consider the weight issue anymore. You can load as many bullets as you want. Why not just load a lot of rounds? After all, it’s not in the confined space of a tank where you need to prepare for quick changes like with magazines. I’ve seen many historical photos that show this thing should have a huge amount of ammunition, even allowing for continuous reloading. Anyway, your vehicle’s left and right angles are relatively small and can’t compare to the 12.7mm machine gun that can turn in all directions (with its damage reduced to that of a submachine gun). So, to restore historical accuracy, on one hand, I suggest Germany restore the ammunition capacity to that provided by the belt. On the other hand, I suggest the Soviets replace the M3’s 12.7mm machine gun with a Browning or a Maxim machine gun because they are better than the 12.7mm with reduced damage. Or just lower the 12.7mm machine gun’s rate of fire or add a 50-round capacity, 1000-round total DShK machine gun.
