Give the OG-43 a better magazine size

The OG-43 that comes with the Italian Flame Paratroopers is horrendous for BR2, crippled by a small magazine. The OG-43 was most commonly issued with 40rd box magazines, but could also accept 10rd and 30rd magazines as well. I believe the most balanced option could be to give it the 30rd box magazine to fit most other BR2 smgs/paratroopers. Soviets obviously get their hot-swappable paratroopers that can bring PPS-42/43, USA can get the Welgun Paratroopers that have 32rd magazines, and Japan now has the Type 100 SMG w/ Bipod that has 30rd magazines. I do believe this small buff wouldn’t make the squad overpowered, as their flamethrowers from the crate are already hard limited to 2 for low BR and 6 for high BR, and the actual performance of the flamethrowers aren’t particularly amazing (BR3 Range, BR4 Damage, Small Fuel Tank). I believe this will bring the OG-43 more in line with similar BR2 offering that Germany has (Screenshots below), and will help it stand out compared to the Beretta M38 (20rd) paratroopers that are currently sitting at BR1, while also helping this squad be more competitive at BR3 when uptiered.

  • Yes, give it a 40rd magazine.
  • Yes, give it a 30rd magazine.
  • No, keep it as is.

I’d rather see the paratrooper squad get moved to BR1, the flamethrowers are trash anyways, and the other variants be implemented as separate TT or event weapons.

Actually, 30 rounds is decent, and a 40-round magazine would be even better. Germany’s BR3 already has submachine guns with 40-round magazines, and the current 20-round capacity is simply not enough. The fire rate of this gun isn’t particularly high either, so perhaps a 40-round version could be introduced as a specially enhanced event reward!

30 round og 43 buff wells dispersion or nerf 43

makes sense
