It’s because some players prefer stripper clip loading. Historically, soldiers preferred using full magazines, but this is a game, and that’s the kind of logic some people use to argue against changes.
Like how they say the Hellcat must not be moved down to BR3, otherwise no one would play the M10. I think it’s the same kind of thinking.
If Germany got two guns at BR3 and one was better than the other, would everyone really stop using the worse one? If I like the first one, why can’t we have a new one? That’s basically it — people are used to the old stuff and reject anything new. The stripper-clip fans just hate the magazine users.
Uh no? It’s just that u.s. doesn’t have a mag fed gun at all. The only original balance to that was the increased damage. You’re trying to negate all rifle balance. The only needed change is to make svt38 clip fed and to reduce g41 reload by .5 at most

I’ve fully upgraded both of these guns and use them at BR3.
Well, how should I put it? The American and Japanese semi-autos at BR3 got pretty noticeable buffs, but the German G41 is still terrible. I don’t really get it either.
But what I’m thinking is to try to speed up the reload speed for the underpowered guns, to balance them closer to ones with magazine reloads. After all, reload speed can be adjusted. Among those bolt-action rifles in BR1, Japan’s starting rifle got the strongest buff.
the g41 empty mag reload animation is even wrong and it needs to be fixed, when its empty the mag bolt stays open and ready for a reload, that means the reload speed needs a buff
Please, it’s the Allies who are ruining the game balance, especially the Soviets’ Tier 3 weapons and plate armor. The G-41 is practically useless now; its reload speed is slow, it has no advantage against submachine guns, and it can’t even kill semi-automatic rifles. I suspect you’re a Soviet player, so you’re deliberately not buffing German Tier 3 weapons, otherwise you wouldn’t be able to bully newbies. Your thinking is incredibly selfish, you know?
Don’t bother arguing with them. A bunch of selfish people will only ever think about themselves. Next time, let newbies skip level 3 weapons and let these selfish bastards find their own fun fighting bots.
