Wait what? We are completely discarding any semblance of physics? Historical theming? Accuracy, yeah I guess that’s out the window for this game now.
But that ROF stat is holy heresy of all guns.
This gun can’t even fire that fast in real life 
, bet 100$ it would self implode. The semi auto animation is lso the jankiest thing I have ever seen.
If you made it’s ROF 600, it would still have that killer damage dropoff, but it can be full auto’d consistently at range. It will be come better (for your average whale especially, those who actually fund his game) if it’s ROF is reduced, since damage dealing is better distributed through time. Recoil, whatever. Maybe the soldier is hulk and can control it. But this is ridiculous. Cmon.
Do you just like this gun for the ROF? Like the G43 kurz with a fictional burst fire? It’s just wrong… So wrong in many ways. Fun, maybe. But why apply historicity restraint to the kurz, and not to this Russian gun?
And, not everyone can tap fire away or even enjoy this gun. Not everyone has that skill. Not everyone even has hardware to reasonably (above min settings) run this game lol. The amount of player’s whose skill reaches that threshold of a weak clan like LBE is so small. I’ve only played this game a week before the economy changes, and I still don’t reach anywhere your skill level. The average noob in this game can’t even fathom how to handle the godly powers of the weapon which they’ve unlocked. The developers should think more about the appeal and resulting expectation when they develop this game, smh. Think about the beginners, guys. Gaijin games are basically a hazing ritual now lol.
Yeah, I can handle that gun. Most of us can. But the point is some level of reasonableness should be applied. I also genuinely think this gun will be better if you give it something like 600 ROF (Even for those peak enlisted players). Who doesn’t want/enjoy full auto for longer time? The dopamine you get from using the Fedorov Avtomat is unrivaled. More ppl will use it, so that’s a plus. I mean, what’s the point of the ROF on this guns right now, winning 1v1’s? Destroying Pubbies? You do that with the AVT 420 already right now. I am not even going to argue that route since the competitive scene is so niche. Should we completely ignore historical accuracy to give one nation the best in the game? Preferably not (FG 42 1 my beloved).
But, I’m guessing, since it’s an event weapon which barely anyone has, unlike the g43 kurz, maybe DF will just ignore. But hey, let’s make some noise. The papers are on the table. Lot’s of unhistorical thing’s are in this game, be better to take them out one by one. Even if it’s not perfect historical accuracy, let’s not try to bring this UFO level of craziness into the game. And I think a gun cycling at a rate beyond what it is physically capable of is ridiculous.
