so they want to post their news, surprise from bigger platform first and then forum last.
so that mean we have smaller community or we are just useless and we always react negatively when they posted something on forum. but on twitter and reddit, the community reacted with mixed reviews or sometimes positively.
not to mention on forum, there are just too many suggestions on fixing the game, negative post, etc.
meanwhile on reddit is just different story, it just people posting about videos of highlight stuffs, memes, funny screenshot, does this means devs sought to go on reddit because the community are more interactive than forum that is widely negatively react.
tl;dr
devs like reddit and twitter more because it is large platform and they react differently than forum.

i have yet to see a game that utilize reddit or twitter more than the actual forums.
you know, they pay more for the forum instead of having open communities over reddit or twatter twitter.
and, they relatively use all media to deliver informations.
that’s one way to put it.
but i hardly think something has priority over others.
heck, for more than 1 year ( almost 2 actually ) bug reports and stuff has been often posted in the forum. and i’m fairly certain that it will continue with that way. maybe with even more suggestions/bugss ecc from other platforms such as reddit.
sure, allow every member for toxicity and negativity in the forum it’s not always healthy nor usefull, but that doesn’t make the forum it self and those who posts any less irrelevant?
just because of many elements, does not nullify the actual posts that are valid and worthy of attention.
i suppose you just have a different view. but to be honest, i don’t really see how it really matters on this topic.

I used to play a metric fuck ton of Gears 5 and was active on the forum.
The coalition devs liked twitter and Reddit a lot more than the forums. Lol
well, anyone can like what they want.
but it is quite obvious in that case that if you have a forum, and don’t use it, sounds like you are having some issues, or making a mistake in the first place.
at the end of the day, i don’t care all that much.
so far, they listen at the forum as much as they do for the other social media.
good enough for me.
