Agreed. Why give that firearm two spare mags but the others get four? There’s even the FNAB to compare it to, four spare mags like all the rest, but only two for the Beretta M38? 5 total mags of 30 rounds is 150 rounds. 4 total mags of 40 rounds is 160 rounds. I think either the M38 should be given two extra mags. That, or give it only one extra mag and remove a mag from other firearms with 40 rounds capacity, thereby making it more even in general.
If there’s other nifty context, for example M38 in German service suffered a shortage of magazines, mention it in the description of the firearm. Maybe they had plenty of 40 round FNAB mags but a lacking of 40 round M38 mags, that would at least give a realistic reason as to the difference.
Hopefully we either get a solution, or at least an explanation, as to why this appears to be the case. Cheers, starapple.
