Give autocannon tanks their improved shells

This may be a bad idea, but they are seriously pointless right now, they have small amounts of ammo per magazine so you often have to rely on the MG (the AB41 has 8 in 20mm magazine and 20 in MG,so you are often very vulnerable),they overheat incredibly fast, have very insufficient penetration, and have incredibly thin armour.this would also apply to SPAAs with similar cannons.doing this would make them viable to use against tanks so starting players arent totaly helpless against tanks even at their own BR que.normal tanks would still be use more often due to having real cannons with much much more infantry support value and of better AT capability.

what shells?

The shells with improved pen in WT,like the PzGr 40 for exmple

so real shells with names or magic stat numbers go up, if real what year were they introduced BR is created by a mix of year of introduction and power

What?all i got from that is “is it real”

what are the shells called like some SMGs use 9MM and some use 45 ACP or other bullet types
what year were the shells introduced

I don’t know what you mean, but PzGr 40 came in year 1940, as it say in the name. Also, it wouldn’t be broken, as it only has a 48mm pen at 10m. Frankly, for anything German, whatever shells they’ll give would be historical, as due to how the timeline went, they weren’t producing anything after the war for those.

What does the year have to do with anything?like pzgr40 would be 1940,but the BRs arent decided by what years things were introduced, look at the MP3008 and TZ45,both made in 45 but BR2 and 3.

he probably wants HVAP-T instead of API-T

APCR is a subcaliber solid shot. It gets better velocity and penetration values on non-sloped surfaces, but with reduced after-penetration damage.

It works for hitting hard targets but you need knowledge of enemy tanks to hit relevant modules/crew members. Don’t expect 1 hit kills with said ammo, but it can be a life saver if you can disable a turret, a transmission or kill a gunner, which effectively puts your enemy out of combat enough for you to either reposition or advance to gain his flank.

seems like it should to me be included
second look at first generation Sherman 1 or 2’s and those serving at the end of the war improvement is something that happens.
you canont simply say the Sherman 1 or 2 was introduced at x year.
Lastly i said year and power, since there is only tanks and rifles its the year it was introduced and power.

rifles could be broken into pistol caliber carbines, light rifles, battle rifles, select fire rifles, you would have to take into account both the year and power,

a slow firing bolt action rifle and a semi auto would not be in the same br just because they came out in the same year range

same with tanks you have spgs, tank destroyers, light medium heavy and super tanks,

so don’t just read the word year and ignore the word power. it is annoying
the game is meant to be more balanced than accurate
otherwise your precious Germans would lack air power almost entirely in all but the lowest br.

I was genuinely confused as to what you were sating in that post and I could only make out something about year and power,I know that year made and power are seperate but often correlated.

Not much would change honestly, there are only a few okay options for high BR,and even still they are outpreformed by a large margin

they really shouldn’t overheat this fast.

the Better API variant for T-60

Not sure what AP ammo is in the 50 cals (Edit its Using API-T 29mm pen. Could have AP for 31mm pen…minimal)
