They’re just tired, and very much asking me for a vacation, but since the MG-30 is just awesome, they’ll still have to work hard

These two squads of machine gunners do not have a machine gun, but have an automatic rifle with a small recoil.

Speaking of the great mg30… Am I weird for liking the Chauchat and having success with it? Not saying it’s better than the mg30 (not by a long shot) but I like the bizzare weapon.

Evidently it was some exploit where you couldn’t be dismounted from a machine gun by being too far away, so people would deliberately set up MG nests so that their body would fall to safety and they could man the gun without being exposed.
