Now I am not sure if its different on PC but as a console player it would appear I cannot gift something from the shop (unless I am missing something, in which please feel free to tell me what I’m missing).
It’s something I used to do in another game. I’d do charity / donate events and then gift the crazy Sobs that joined me after the fact. Or to players who really stood out.
Its definately something I’d like to do again if the option was available.
They could call it “War Bonds” for gifting Gold to friends

Beware: the gift function in the store is ok, but any option to transfer items from one account to another has probably better be AVOIDED, for everyone’s good:
From Developers’ POV, that would mean a heavy cut on otherwise potential earnings;
And from players’ POV, despite the apparent benefits, there’s a HUGE drawback because that option would be a magnet for hackers / scammers. In no time a crapstorm would arise, with lots of players finding out that their accounts have been hacked and all their items donated to “TotallyLegitPlayer123”, and others mad because they donated things to “TrustMeBro456” who promised to donate something back, but then obviously didn’t.
Idk take steam / valve for example they make quite a bit of cash with trading system as they take theyr share of each sold item. Items that otherwise would be pretty much worthless.
Sure different playercount & entirely different item system if compared to csgo for example.
I was more thinking along the lines of say, buying a player premium or a vehicle. Not donating gear you have in game or items in game that you already own.
For example, I had a 5 min dogfight once with a player in WoWP. I finally got him with a diving S but I was so impressed with the fight that I bought him a premium plane in the game.
Other times I run charity events where , in WoWP everytime I got shot down I put $25 towards sick kids hospital and then bought the pilot a plane who got me, of his choice.
I know lots of games have the option to gift items from the store, I want to be able to do that here.
The game ends up making more money as a result.

When I saw this it brough an idea… trade system between players, currency could be bronze. Because it would probably be more lucrative than the poor rates they will offer when we wanna sell our unused weapons once the new nerf errrr weapon system is implemented. Would also help new players a lot.
It would but I would likely get a large amount from the 25 mg34s I have in the stores of Normandy
Knowing gaijing, you’d probably get like 1 or 2 bronze a piece… trading with other players you could get a bit more. Even if the weapons remain restricted to those already unlocked it would be nice.
But let’s not kid ourselves: it’s a great idea but they will never implement it. It would make players save money, wich is something the company abhors.
i will glady suply my friends whit some of my equipment still i don,t want my stuff being stolen by a fucking kid whit hackers skills.
i not agaist this ideia, alot for the contrary, but it is to dangerous, that,s sure.
I’m not interested in transfer of equipment only because there is risk in that. I am more interested in gifting something from the store.
A vehicle, a squad, premium time, battle pass. Those can’t be taken from ones account. Its usually done very securely. I did it for years and years.
