Isn’t there a limitation like if you already have that customization, you won’t be getting it again in the gold box?
do you have the label volkssturm squad, or the pp43 guerilla squad too?
if so, those first pants are where those are from too.

Its just a pretty messy addition, yes it’s understandable that the devs want to make some money on customisation, but the gold chests are simply a bad idea.
I guess tho when people “like” gambling - cool, let those people have fun. But other than that? Nah, gambling and customisation doesn’t work together - because visual customisation is a matter of preference, and as such needs people to be able to choose.

If you like a specific cosmetic, just wait until a Premium Squad featuring that particular cosmetic becomes available for purchase. And once you have that Squad, you can purchase the Premium Cosmetics used on that Squad for all your other Squads.
Literally no gamble involved.
I do guess you are right… with the announced change gold chests will become “non-required” as you can just buy the squad you want to use, and those who love the roll of the dice will be able to gamble their lifesavings away. Cool. Whatever.
That being said - I smell opportunity to implement gold chests as BP and event rewards upon completion.
I remember back in the days how I always wanted to complete all events because in the end you would be given gold orders that you could spend on what ever you want later. Nowadays I skip some events that have rewards that I dont really need since I am an axis main. BP is even worse because every BP is mostly faction specific, so I naturally only buy every 4th BP - if I even like the introduced BP weapon.
If every BP had a gold chest in the end - I would probably complete much more BP seasons.
