Unless DF is going to make ALL planes take off before they enter the battle, their is no sense making Japanese and Allied planes take off aircraft carriers.
First off, it takes to damn long to get to the fight taking off a carrier, NTM that entire control points are taken before you can take off and get to the control point. Taking as much time as it does, especially in a dive bomber also means that your shot down twice as often trying to just make your first bombing run. So either shit can the carrier crap or make ALL planes have to leave the ground before they can fight.
It was a semi cool novel idea, but it sucks, especially when no other faction is forced to take off before a fight. Of course, why would we expect DF to make all factions the same, they made the USSR paratroopers with the ability of interchangeable weapons but not the other factions. Yes, I am in full old man cranky mode.
This has already been discussed at length, eliminating them is NOT the solution, planes that spawn in the air should be forced to do so at an airfield or appear further away, at the time I made a suggestion to make the rearmament based on your spawn, that is, if you appear in a seaplane your recharge zone is the closest, if you appear in a carrier it is done as until now and if you appear in the air/airfield, your recharge zone will be further away
I am fine with it as long as DF makes it even for all factions. But if they make everyone else take off from the ground and have to cover the same distance, I am fine with that. Maybe the correct thing would be for them to discuss less and act more because I had heard in the past that they were discussing this.
The map of the Pacific already proves airports are shit
So no need for more airports and associated penalties
But the high-altitude spawn plane in the Pacific does need to be restricted at the beginning of the game

Destroying an enemy’s vehicle in 40 seconds just after respawning is unfair to some extent.
Because they don’t even have subordinate time
I think until we come to a good conclusion of airfields they should just remove the aircraft carriers in the Pacific maps. For now lets keep everything equal
yeah they totally suck. they can stay for repairs & greyzone protection and thats it.
they single handedly made almost all japanese planes unplayable/ a pita to play & create even more imbalance among the inferior japanese army composition.
Airport aircraft continue to use the airport
High-altitude planes continue to fly high
All you need to do is ask the authorities to provide high-altitude aircraft from level 1 to level 3.
It’s that simple
For one it’s nice having a defense point to retreat to. This option changes the dynamic of dogfighting for the better as speed can now be the superior attribute. Engaging with a turn fighter but you are faster? Run to your boat and put your chaser in a predicament. You may not get the kill but you may have satisfaction.
Secondly, the ability to land and repair is obviously incredibly beneficial. Plus the challenge and fun that can be had by successfully landing when your bird is burning or barely flying is unmatched.
You do have a point with the con though. Everyone is always in a rush to the action so I see why many people are frustrated with the extra time it takes to get going. Consistency should be considered though in this case that very slow start somewhat balances out because the ability to repair is gained.
For consistency’s sake, I hope aircraft carriers remain and hope for the implementation of airfields. The dynamic and pros mentioned above should be available to all maps.
