The German starter tank compared to the Allies is far better in every way! its Faster. Easier to turn. Even me who has the M8 Scott Which is a Heavy 75mm round tank with heat rounds gets 1 shot by the German tank. And many times i have to put 2-3 shots into the German tank center mass to even kill it.

i disagree.
the problems comes from bad models in terms of hitboxes and stuff.
the main issue is not nerfing the german or american tank. but insthead, they need a fix.
itâs really odd watching m5s surviving pumas shots, and/or pumas taking multiple hits with just 15mm of armorâŚ
but, unfurtunally this issue itâs still going on.
it has been like this for 2/3 months.
the only suggestion that i can give you when you face a puma, use HE insthead of APs. itâs the only way to effectively kill them.
The Scott 8 I use doesnât have AP rounds just HE and HEAT rounds lol
Does the Stuartâs HE actually KO pumas? I kind of wrote off the Stuart HE as useless.
it does on the side. below the turrett.
In fairness, I have also seen the Stuart survive shots which should definitely have destroyed it, or bounce shots it has no business bouncing. Crew taking a 50mm to the face, and only slightly wounded etc etc.
Live by the ADMAF rule:
âAll damage models are fuckedâ
Puma dies to any 75mm HE though
Donât forget the b1rgp or âbirgpâ rule
âBF 110 rocket go poofâ
Nah, thatâs BIRS
Or Bf110 rockets slap
The tank penetrations are bugged, because when you use the AP shells and the reticle is on green, on the impact cam they show a ricochet, so i will like to now what the actual penetration for the shells are, because its seems that is set like to 30% of the actual penetration
Youâre shooting from a 75mm howitzer. They tend to have lower velocity. And if you have an M8, you have a .50 that can easily kill a Puma. Itâs literally a âlearn2playâ issue.
Stupidly enough the HE round on the 75 is better than the HEAT round
Thatâs typically because HEAT has shaped detonation so itâs better at punching through thicker armor while still doing HE damage to an extent while HE is just a big blast. If you need big boom, go with HE, if you need smaller boom that goes past non-insignificant plate then go with HEAT.
You wouldnât want to stand next to a 75mm HEAT detonation. Itâs pretty similar to normal HE, but the force is mostly directed in one direction, in addition to the copper blast. But the rest of the blast is still lethal enough
Obviously, I just meant that the 8mm of armor probably isnât enough of a buffer to get the full HEAT effect which is why HE seems more efficient. That being said pumas should be getting blown to smithereens by most explosives.
dude, i was about to complain that the american one is broken, as the american you can penetrate everywhere with the he ammo
No - itâs just a borked tank damage/penetration model across all tanks and all campaigns - the Puma is just an extreme version of it where even 75mm AP often wonât do a damned thing.
