German soldiers with captured allied & Soviet rifles

Decided to look up some photos to see what kind of rifles German soldiers captured. Thought I shared some

These photos show German soldiers with the M1 carbine. Most likely on the western front

These sgow the SVT-40 or 38. Most like the eastern front. But it is possible for it to be the western front too

A guns a gun. The only draw back is ammo. You point and pull the trigger pretty straight forward. Much like a dog is a dog there are many breeds but at the end of the day its still a dog. All sides (No sure about the Japanese) would use the sides equipement. It was not uncommon for Germans to use Soviet weapons, tanks, not sure about planes.

I knew they used some tanks. Not sure how common it really was. But I definitely grantee that they did use A soviet plane. Like that one photo of a captured spitefire

Think they used a ton of French and Allied captured tanks. The guns on the Russian front as well. The Germans liked the extra rounds, the Russians liked the reliability of the German weapons.

Definitely used French tanks, vehicles, guns etc. And knew they used some Shermans during the Bulge.

That’s kinda funny to be honest. Probably makes the MP-41(r) the best of both worlds then XD

tut tut tut.

there’s no captured weapons allowed. Unless those are panzerfausts and shrekwithoutashield. Since it’s for other factions than axis, it’s okay.

I hate how this is true :frowning:

Don’t germans have like 3-4 captured soviet smgs from various sources?

They have the captured PPSH-41 (box mag) from the saboteur event. The pre-merge Mp-717, a captured earlier pattern PPSH-41 with a drum mag. And the MP-41(r) a Captured PPSH-41 rechambered for 9mm and uses the MP-38/40 mag and thier versionof the PPSH-41 obres. So technically they have 2 without any modification, but 4 if we count the MP-41(r) and their obres PPSH-41

Okay, hopefully we’ll see these captured weapons again next time, but the chances are probably extremely slim.

Japanese soldiers were not afraid to use foreign firearms.
In fact, they even adopted a lot of captured guns like Mauser C96, SIG smgs (I know navy also ordered their own, but army got their hands on them by capturing from China) or Geweer M.95.

I’d love to see more captured weapons and vehicles in the form of premiums and events. Or even modified or rechambered weapons and vehicles.

A few that come to mind:

KW I C 756 Or captured KV1 for Germany
KW II 754(r) (captured KV2) for Germany
M4 748 (a) (captured Sherman) for Germany
T-34 747 (r) Or T-34-88 For Germany
Pz.Kpfw. Churchill (captured Churchill Mk III) Germany
Captured Panzer 3/4 and StuG variants for Russia

Selbstladegewehr 258(r) & Selbstladegewehr 259(r) (SVT 38 & 40) for Germany

Captured M1 Garand for Japan or Selbstladegewehr 251(a) for Germany

Captured M1 Carbine for Japan or Selbstladekarabiner 455(a) for Germany

MP 760(a) and MP 760/2(a) (M1928 & A1 Thompsons) for Germany

MP 761(a) (M1921 Thompson) for Germany

Captured MG34 & 42 for Russia

MP. 715(r) (captured PPD40) for Germany

Trophy pistols for all sides

Like the one with the german cannon? If so then I would definitely live to she it added in as a event squad.

Is there any changes to it? Like a different cannon?

A alternative Thompson for br 3 Germany: The 1921 Thompson with 30 round mag (MP-761)

Not sure How I frel about these two.

Yeah pretty sure the KW I C 756 had a panzer 4 gun and cupola. I think it would be a BR 4 tank because of the armour.

Pretty sure the Churchill was just the stock 57mm cannon.

MG34 & 42 would only be limited event weapons so like 1 or 2 from an event. Same as trophy pistols.

I like the idea but I feel it should be event squad only

Yeah, i agree that none of the ones i mentioned should be in the TT. Only event or premium.

Honestly a part of me think it should be br 3. But yeah, the br 4 Kv-1 does have good armor

So like the premium one available to the allies?

Pistols I can kinda be okey with, since there is alotof historical photos of both sides with captured pistols. But the soviets already I honestly wouldn’t want the soviets to have the MG-34 & 42, cause it would open up one long conversation about how unfair it is for Germany. If it were the Kar98k then sure, it could be a special partisan squad, similar to the profile pic.

Yeah i think it has the BR 4 armour, it’s in WT but I can’t be bothered looking it up aha.

Yeah the Churchill would pretty much be the exact same but be painted grey and have German markings.

Fair point about the MGs, i think limited numbers wouldn’t be so bad. I really would like a captured SVT38 for Germany with a magazine reload. Just to level the playing field a bit aha.

I would like if get something similar to the M1907 Winchester for germany. But I don’t mind if we get the Svt-38, but it might be nerfed by then, but those Commieboys are gonna cry about it.

Yeah I’m hoping that it gets a stripper clip reload animation which I guess is kind of a nerf but I would still be happy to see a captured one for Germany anyway.

Closest thing I can think of to the M1907 would just be a captured M1 carbine I know that the M1907 is way better though.

Had a google, there’s a semi auto called the Mauser Selbstlader M1916. I remember it from BF1 but from what I’ve read on google, it’s similar to the mondragon that it was rare in WW1 so very unlikely that it would have ended up being used in WW2. Yet the mondragon is in the game so i guess it’s possible?
