Sniper MKB 42 go to BR IV (ROF reduced to 500 RPM and give it ability to detach the scope)
Sniper Gewehr 43 go to BR III (unchanged)
Current BR doesn’t make sense as people will overlook both the sniper G43 and sniper MKB over the sniper STG and sniper FG. My proposed BR change will fill the niche for German BR III, IV, and V snipers.
I feel that eventually many BR IV weapons will have to move down in the near future, along with the BR 2-3 bracket and below. Same for many vehicles. I think this last BR adjustment is a good change and there’s many ways it can improve further. On the other hand, I feel that BR III is the sweet spot for a peak WW2 enlisted experience, also for those who want to stay away from post-war tech. So why not? Let’s move more ‘classic’ WW2 weaponry to mid tier.

Sniper MkB does have advantages over Sniper StG. And it is incomparable to sniper FG.
Not to mention, majority of people are overlooking sniper class as whole. Especially on higher BRs. So you argumentation doesn’t even make sense. All those weapons are pretty niche already.

Can’t argue with this. The only reason I play BR V sniper is because I can’t be bothered to spend 1500 silver on an assaulter just to play StG 44.
Would LOVE sniper Gewehr 41 with ZF-4 scope
Sniper Gewehr 41 should have been tech tree, having it as a premium is poor balancing decision. Funnily enough, waaaay back in closed testing the G41 Sniper WAS in the Moscow campaign system, but was removed and readded as a premium squad.
Sniper MkB-42 has the advantage of iron sights and less zoom than the Sniper STG, which allows for a more comfortable close-to-mid range option while the sniper STG dominates mid-range. Additionally, no assault rifle should ever be BR 4.
Sniper G43 should stay at BR 4 because of the fast reload and increased damage on par with the Sniper SVT-40, compared to the Sniper SVT-38. In fact I would go so far as to argue that the M1C Garand with 16.1 damage be moved back up to BR 5, Sniper M1 Garand be moved to BR 4, and a new, 12.0 damage profile semi-auto sniper for the US be added at BR 3. Japan as a whole also needs semi-auto snipers.
Mkb42 belongs to BR3 as a counter to PPSh-41 box. What’s the point of it at BR4 (it will always uptier to Br5 anyway) when i can use this superior AR:
Besides nerfing (or more correcting) mkb42 to 500rof will kill that gun as now it’s better than stg44 that has too high of zoom
Standard g43 is still br4 (should be 3)… So unless g43 goes down to br3, I don’t see it’s sniper variant going down.
