Like you can give it a choke so it has a tighter spread to justify the scope or give it slugs but tacking on a scope on this gun is not a reasonable idea better as a separate gun entirely call it Drilling Hunters or something and there you go your wants is more likely to be added onto the game than just tacking something on that already exists Germany gets more verity without enshittifing an existing gun

I hope we can convince the devs to also add the Browning Auto-5 to the german tech tree. Because a squad of germans with shotguns is funny.
(and not inaccurate, I have a great-great-grandfather that his squad uh ‘secured’ some shotguns as ‘backup’ weapons.)
I chose not to use the Auto 5 because I want to avoid a situation where we basically get like 4 different variations of essentially the same gun everyone had the Auto 5 in different variations
American got the Remington Auto 5
Japan got the FN Auto 5 with the rig line
Russia militia used the FN auto 5 without the rig
German officers used the auto 5 as a sporting weapon
Plus the walter shotgun is better because it can hold one more round than the auto 5 which makes the auto 5 a less than worthwhile addition

Fair fair, I prefer to have more options as I hate when a gun is your only option and the sights are trash.
The Walther is definitely the cooler option but having the Auto-5 as a backup is not a bad idea, y’know?
