I just quickly looked at German pistols in Moscow, no time to look at other pistols.
So now Mauser C96 is 3 stars, while before the update it was 1 star.
Was the gun also upgraded somehow? Or does it just have the same stats, but with 2 stars?
Luger remained the same. Walther went from 2 stars to 3 stars.
I know there are hidden stats (dispersion) so it’s not always easy to understand which is the best gun.

In berlin is 3 star simply they put the moscow one at berlin level

They want you to pay money or grind more 50K XP is not enough they had to up it to 75K
It is really weird, since I always considered mauser to be inferior to literally all other pistols axis have in Moscow (but cool enough to still keep using few in my squads).
I haven´t checked their stats, but I suppose they raised number of stars because mauser have 10 rounds (which is the highest value from all Moscow pistols).
At least I don´t have to waste my silver tickets.
I think 'stars’on weapons dont do anything, except increase upgrade cost

i wholeheartedly disagree. the mauser is the best pistol in the game for panicked spamfire at 5 meters
Well, Mauser has less damage but more bullet speed and a larger magazine capacity. I also suppose it is a bit more accurate.
So it seems more or less equivalent to other pistols.
Luger looks more sexy though… 
I am not going to use silver orders to change the pistols of my soldiers anyway… I have now handguns for all my active squads. But for new players that might matter.
That is true, but spamfire is not the only thing I personaly tend to do with pistols.
It truly is subjective.
