Hey Enlisted community, I’m here to ask why anti-infantry tanks like the Panzer III N “Stalingrad”, Panzer IV F1, and Panzer E use HEAT shells but not HE shells against infantry. When I play with them, I only get HEAT and AP anti-tank shells. Then I looked at tanks like the KV-2, for example, and it only has HE shells. I don’t understand, thanks for any help. Could it be that updates removed this type of shell?
Devs choose which ammunition to put in each tank and some tanks don’t have HE, HEAT or APBC and this is not a suggestion
This is not a suggestion, so I’d suggest to change the category to game discussion
Okay, sorry for putting this topic in the suggestions. I think it’s completely stupid to have anti-infantry vehicles that don’t have shells to counter them.

HEAT functionally performs the same as HE if not better sometimes and served as multi purpose so you don’t have to switch when you encounter tank as the expense of having same ammo pool… for one i know it can pen the wooden buildings of moscow.
This tank was a long time ago specially after merge a complete Pain
Able to spam he and dominating on every Game if placed rigth
But i think that it’s remove of he and moved to br 3 Made br 2 Germany the definition of pain until we got the berettas with decent rof yet we still handicaped due soviet body armor but im not gonna get on details
Getting back to the pz III N when i was first playing USSR it was a whole Pain to deal with soviet at guns and americans aswell had a hard time trying to pen it
Even if it was moved to br 3 the he spam would still being insane so yep now heat is what we got
For me is a little bit worse from what i see because since pz Iiin was nerfed i never Saw one anymore
Probably mainly because they seem to limit 75mm HE throwers at BR 2 - Lee/Grant is stuck in a sponson, P3N has HEAT instead of HE, etc.
although that said the M8 Scott has plenty of HE, but a mediocre HEAT for AP purposes…
I personally still think M8 Scott is limited by its turret traverse speed and as such fair game in BR2 - especially since
