Yes, 4 premium machinegunners and you can add your own engineer and anti tank soldier.

Yeah that squad was pretty poor, but they added an at soldier and a pioneer later, which makes the squad very good for BR2.
I am glad I own that one - as a matter of fact, its the first squad I ever got, enabled me to play Moscow closed beta back in the days, though in hindsight I probably should have bought the MP41 squad instead considering it is much rarer and basically a legacy collectors squad.
…then again MP40 is pathetic in BR2, and MP41 is equally worthless.

Actually I believe the MP40/1 is on sale for a limited time now.
So MG30 over MP40/1?
Dual mag is more of a hindrance than a real benefit. It’s implemented really poorly.

The mp41 squad came in CBT… which is why I don’t have it as I started playing a few weeks too late.
The mp40/1 came with Berlin release. Soviets had a very nice ppd40 DSZ (if you see that one, buy it without hesitation)

I bought it…the MG is good. 6 man squad…so fun to play at BR2…plus it’s an old Legacy Premium.

It’s a ppd40, with a bayonet and a special compensator.
If you thought ppd40 didn’t have recoil before, that one is a complete laser.
Not dual mag MP40, there is a early supporter MP40 that will never return to sale.

This is how I decked mine out. This squad I like because I now have a complete custom match German Machine gun lineup, NTM I tried out the MG 30 before I bought it and I like it, especially at BR2.
I am buying fewer and fewer squads now days since I have a shit load of them and am wildly overstocked at certain BR levels. So, if Gaijin wants me to continue buying up squads, they need to unlock the weapons or I am just wasting my money on squads I can hardly use. If I could re-arm them, I could have complete squads at every BR level. Unfortunately, Gaijin is unable to see the big picture.

I have ONE MP41 and that’s it. So, it is the oddball weapon in it’s squad.

But how? It came with the Moscow CBT premium squad, no?
I’ll be honest, I don’t remember where I got it since it has been a few years. However, my guess is that it was offered as an event gun at some point. Maybe this one is different from the Squad, IDK, I don’t have the squad. This one is an R, maybe the other one wasn’t and is different.
NOTE: Upon a quick search, I see that the MP41 and the MP41r are different. 
, so I do not have the same as the squad.
