German captured Soviet submachine gun in berlin campaign

Soviets didnt have any ‘own’ anti tank rocketlaunher/weapon so they have to use panzerfausts. Otherwise devs should remove whole AT soldier for soviets. Allies captured lot of fausts and used those.

If german get captured equipment, then allied side should also including tanks they captured.

Hopefully devs never implement captured weapons, would be boring as f*k when everybody uses ppsh, mg42 and fg42’s regardless if they play german or allies.

you sound mad at the idea. Why don’t you try to relax by reading mao’s little red book or something.

Only the most potato tier of people would forget to develop an effective infantry borne AT weapon.

So please enlighten me what infantry AT weapons soviets developed that was actually used?

Atleat not ‘gid gud’ but ‘joo filthy commonist’ argument this time…

Seems whole idea is give best weapons in every category to one faction. Even germans use of captured weapons can be explained by ‘historical accuracy, facts and realism’ game is still balanced against those ‘facts’. One good example is german CAS in berlin…

You can still use soviet weapon from dead enemies btw. It has more improved by the dev now so you are not only get a very little amount of ammo. And you can also collect enemy ammo if you press F to the gun with the same bullet type…

WOW holy crap calm down dude. please control yourself.

Lee-Enfield isn’t a trash weapon, it’s the best bolt action in the game right now. The Ross is the second best, and IMO has the best sights for a bolt action. (they have the same stats, with the exception of the magazine, which is better on the Lee-Enfield)

PIAT is better than early bazookas, by far. Early bazookas had only half to two thirds the penetration of the PIAT. You’d be crying about your M1 bazooka firing M6A1 HEAT the same way German mains complain about the Sturmpistole. (except you’d have even less pen, the Sturmpistole is on par with M6A2 HEAT for bazookas)

Agreed on LMGs. But only because German LMGs are grossly overpowered.

M1A1 → M1 → M1928 would be the more logical procession for thompsons, given fire rates, build quality, etc. That said, with 40 campaign levels promised, I’m sure we’ll get the better Thompsons anyway as the devs add more of the promised levels.

its called picking up from dead from ground also notice it give more ammo then before from pick-ups.

It’s already a thing. When you see a Soviet SMG on the ground, pick it up. You now have a captured Soviet SMG.

pls allow me to piss off the slavaboos.,

Just like soviets can use german planes & tanks, join game as german drive/fly your desired vehicle to soviet spawn > quit game > matchmake as soviet untill you get into game where you left your now captured vehicles > super ez & fun.
Np this tip was completely free.

Lmao ross is garbage and the Lee Enfield is eh if i wanted a bolt action id use the Sniper squad.

by 1944 M1A1 and M9 Bazookas were what was frontline service in western front so PIAT being better then M1 from 1942 isnt a big accomplishment. Piat was so terrible they stopped using it in WW2 because it couldnt hit shit. Sure it pens more doesnt matter if it glances off because of terrible angle of impact.
Bazookas better because it had a flat trajectory for 250 meters and a slight arc up to 400.

M6A1 heat has 120mm pen on flat armor M6A2 has anywere from 140-150mm pen. flat i dont know why wikipedia lists its pen at .60 degree angle and not at flat. Far better then sturm pistole and the range of bazookas amazing Piat not so much.

I dont fucking want the standard US equipment at level 40 because we had to be the test bed for another campaign. That should be in the mid teens level equipment not a level 30+

Get that trash out and send it to Tunisia. Every single option just blocked a US weapon of equal or supperior capabilities from being added. for no decent reason.

Ross and Enfield have the same stats without the magazine, so the ross can’t be garbage if the enfield is eh… and that’s before, again, getting into the fact that they are by the numbers the best bolt actions for regular infantry, again. For the efficiency numbers; Comparison of Normandy Campaign Guns

M6A1’s flat pen is 55-60mm, M6A2 is 75-80mm of pen, according to multiple sources I’ve found online, not just wikipedia, and I’d like to know where you’re getting those penetration values from.

How would you fill out 40 campaign levels just with US gear, and why do you want the normandy campaign, that included more than just US soldiers, to only have US gear, when we will have a 100% USA campaign with the Pacific campaign? (pacific campaign has been confirmed, for the record.)

lol those sources are wrong.

My source’s actual books on AT weapons and a seperate book on Small arms both state

M6A1 flat is 100-120mm pen flat
M6A2 flat is 140mm pen flat.
M9 Bazooka firing the M6A3 could get up to 170mm pen

Sources
David vs Goliath a history of infantry Anti-tank weapons dated 1998
Small arms of the USA 1776-2010 dated 2012

David vs Golaith actually tested around 70 rockets with armor armor plates of varying thicknesses. only tge M6 rocket was sub 100 at 75mm pen. And that wasnt used after late 1942.

Thank you for the sources. I’ll have to look them up.

That said, your thoughts on the other points I made?

Well for late tier additions to the US tech tree i would add things like the
Johnson LMG for Gunners
Johnson Rifle for Troopers
M1919A6 for Gunners
Thompson Drum 1928 Assaultier class
M9 bazooka with the M1A1 in the piats place. Bomber class

The problem is theres not much else to add aside from lower end stuff like the 1903A3 or even the PT-17 rifle i also dont know why the M1 and G43 are level 7 they should have been later then that and they should have the same ballistics as the Bolt actions using the same ammo.

Or why the FG-42 is an intantry rifle when the 7000 of them made were mostly used as fill in MGs instead of given to rifles.

M2 and M1 Carbine are a little weak aswell id defenitelty give them 10 damage at max upgrade as they had 3 times the velocity of 9mm at around the same grain projectile.

I think the Johnson LMG would be better paired against the FG42 as a Premium Assaulter squad, gold weapons, or high tier assaulter weapons, given their paratrooper usage and assaulter squads in game being named as paratroopers in general.

The Johnson rifle is already in game but it’s a premium status gun, so…

Thompson Drum will probably be a higher campaign level weapon against the Suomi KP/-31

As we are confirmed to be getting 40 campaign levels from the devs, I do have a thread suggesting a rework of normandy here, and would be interested in your input as to anything I may have missed; Suggestion for Normandy Campaign restructure and rebalance

As for The carbines being weak, I think it’d be better to handle it with recoil than damage, as recoil is their real issue right now, imo. My thread on that; Suggestion to Adjust M1 / M2 Carbine Series Recoil to Improve Game Balance [Mathematical Comparison]

I looked it over and it pretty good the things i would change tho are obviously if the Germans are gonna get a Grenade launcher AT weapon as there first AT weapon it should probably be matched with the M1 Garand firing M9 AT grenades.

Ross rifle would be a 1903A3

The 1918A1 and 1918A2 would move down a slot each first one replacing Bren second one taking the 1918A1 slot with

1919A6 with 50 rd belt going to match the MG-34 and the 1919A6 with 100 rd belt matching the MG-42 Similar gun but kind of like how theres PPSHs and PPDs with Box and Drum seperated.

TDs id like to see the M18 Hellcat

Other then that i like it but i feel there gonna add alot more vehicles.

I mean, M9 / M9A1 Rifle grenades would be an option, but again, sources I’ve seen rate it lower than the PIAT in performance, and the PIAT is already in game. The Grenade launcher AT weapon was to give germans the closest equivalent they had to the PIAT in performance I’m aware of, and an upgrade to the Sturmpistole.

I hope they don’t add many more vehicles and focus more on infantry equipment variety insomuch as possible.

I can’t find a bany info on either of htese pulications on hte net - do you have ISBNs??
