Every match is a stomping by one side cause the other side only has 1 or 2 people. Don’t understand how it’s this late in this games life and we can’t even get matches with PEOPLE in them in an online FPS game. Early in the games life both sides were full of players and the matches were intense. Now this has become easily the most boring FPS game I have ever played.
Ngl it is starting to get stale. Most games are either a seal club fest or a roflstomp loss.
Yup, and the solution is by adding some form of matchmaking but for whatever these devs just can’t figure that out no matter how much people ask for it. Game has no hope with devs like this. Makes DBD devs look good at their job

I think a large part of the problem is not so much the players but the bots.
The devs have yet to find the balance between bot AI experience - ie the ranks and perks of the soldiers vs their game terrain and obscuration effects. Whilst experienced players will certainly reap their harvest with automatic weapons, their awareness is still limited just like any other player, and if you see them first and fire accurately, then at the very least you’ll down them and get a second shot to finish them off. So as long as you spot them first you can kill them.
The biggest issue ppl have is that bots on aggressive behaviour are not hampered by the LOS limitations of human players. They see through terrain and smoke perfectly using rasycan sensing, and they become very lethal, because they will jump and flop around “defensively” whilst returning incredibly accurate fire. Especially if they are high rank and their active player has set them on aggressive behaviour, because I’m sure you noticed that when you shoot a bot on passive they’re slower to react and shoot back if at all, but if they’re aggressive, they will snap to your location unerringly and return fire with an accuracy relative to their rank.
If I can make a recommendation for beginners, accept the vulnerability to HE for the time being, order your squad into a close formation (hit Alt in game and select accordingly) as well as setting their behaviour on aggressive. They will tend to engage more effectively, particularly if armed with automatic weapons and at least provide you with a bit of bot suppression to give you enough time to pick off the player and then the bots before the active player can switch soldiers.
if the game got some kind of hardcore slower more realistic game modes on larger maps with slower movement speed, no jumping, no vaulting over anythink hight then a picket fence and no COD perks like +35% HP, (like how they had squads and no squads) this game would be amazing
there would be a hugh infusion of players as there a there would be exciting new game mode, a realistic game mode for the player base that wants it and it would feel alot more ww2y

Esy way to fix this? Have friendly fire. It will slow things down and make for a more accurate ex eperience.

Nope, we had FF in lone wolf for some time when it was a game mode you could select in the main menu, there were people kicked for FF every match because they couldent aim there bombs and HE so the frustation was enormes. Same with the old Arty FF in Squads.
This is a F2P game so we will have people here how never played one before are kids with little knowlage or just trolls how can make unlimited accounts just to go on. FF will just annoy more people thah it is worth in my eyes.
(That dosent mean it is a stupid idea to make a realistic game mode, where you maybe need some higher campain level to enter, so people should have at least seen some advanced basics like really points or the squad menu)

Literally anything at this point. There isn’t a MM system implemented yet which is why each team only gets like 4 people and the rest bots
I can’t speak for the devs, who remain (weirdly?) tight-lipped about most, if not all, of their upcoming plans, but the rank system might be their first steps towards developing a way to match-make.
Assuming that they don’t redo the ENTIRE game into a Battle Rank/Tier system like WT has, personal ranks or stats are going to be the only way to delimit one player’s ability from another.
But as Quadro and others have essentially said, we know the player base usually runs low (at least until an event starts up ) so there may not be enough data for them to push this further along, at least for a while.
Still, I think there’s bigger questions about development assets, team size, how decisions are made (and who makes them), and a host of other things that I’m starting to be concerned with.
are you constantly having to go through a server browser to find a game? because that is what it would mean to have no MM
Ya, I have extremely low faith in this dev team. They just seem to ignore what their already low playerbase asks for and implement other weird things. The shellshock update is a prime example, literally the opposite of what people wanted and then they claim it is necessary to the game. Completely out of touch
I’d say every match only having 2-3 people on each team is worse than that. I’ll happily server browse since it would actually show how many players there are
