Game details and gore gibs

Ive been reviewing different parts of the game’s detail so far and I have to say everything looks great and total immersion is beautfiful, for enlisted being a free game it has several positive sides to it.

But if I could talk about some suggestions and etc.

first of starting with the shadows. Player shadows when sprinting is a bit too awkward while trying to get from point A to B, with the player’s arms looking too stationary when running it kind of ruins the shadow. On top of that is that awkward running animation. Maybe trying different running/walking animations is possible. Not suggesting to have the animation now removed but to add more than one running animation randomized so it adds to detail, example being the sprinting animation from games like MW. It usually changes from the common hold of the gun to the faster sprint animation wherein the player’s character has their gun on the right while sprinting.

Moving on to gore. It isnt for anyone but it sure does add to immersion. It just feels like there isnt an adequate amount of dismemberment and blood in Enlisted. Especially the fact that the game is WW2 and focuses more on shoot-outs and bombings. Im pretty sure bullet wounds and common dismemberment should be mandatory, the dismemberment now in the game is pretty extravagant aswell but I feel as if its hard to comeby. The models of each player lacks the gibs and removable joints it kind of removes WW2 feels, but ofcourse the game still upholds its positive sides with or without total immersion of WW2.
