"game balance"

Is not something to strive for. A perfectly balanced game is chess; chess is boring. Give me the strange, the arcane, and the utterly ridiculous. Let me figure out how to use solutions looking for a problem. Should have left Japan with their bolt actions and lightly armored tanks. Should have left USSR with an AT deficit and hordes of T-34’s. The US should have crappy low BR vehicles (but better infantry weapons) and decent high BR vehicles that they can afford to throw away. Germany should have some of the best all around equipment. It’s learning how to use what you have.

I’m pretty sure Germany is the most fully functional camp
includes but is not limited to
They have 2 models of semi-automatic rifles, a variety of powerful vehicles, the most terrifying anti-tank rocket systems, and a variety of high-performance automatic weapons.
What else do they lack?

Germany should have the worst equipment after 1943. It should break down, all German logistics should work as it did during the war, i.e. poorly. Really, people, if you are interested in World War II, take up professional literature. The Germans had little good equipment, and they used a lot of captured equipment because their industry was inefficient.

As for your opinion about balance, balance killed H&G. Here, each faction has its own strengths and weaknesses and this should not be changed.

And besides, it’s players like you who killed the greater realism of this game in favor of balance. I paid for a game with more realistic mechanics, the soldiers were people, not super ninjas.

It’s important that different camps have different advantages
It’s pretty boring when there’s no difference in the performance of a gaming rig
In severe cases, it will affect the number of players
Many games have gone bankrupt because of this

No they are not. White have slightly higher win rate.

i feel like OP comes from a top down RTS game that is all i would like to add

Wouldn’t that make them boring to use, like chess?

Come on, man. You listed all other factions and they should all have shortcomings…

But not axis?

There’s a term for that in the forums…

well it would be “boring” to only have factions with weaknesses, so there should be at least one faction that is great all around

“game balance” gajin Style

Enlisted balanced ?

? ?

As intended

Self-loading AT rifles

  • Solothurn S-18/1000

  • 14.5 mm PzB 784(r)

except for the AXIS. It’s strong everywhere

They lack an actually good t5 mg and big howitzer tank like the 105 sherman. Also no tech tree aa vehicle but rest is really well covered

You’re wrong. On BR 1-4 the Germans are average. The fact that they are so good on BR 5 is only a result of the fact that in games the German equipment is as good as on paper, and not how good it actually was.
If the equipment in games was exactly as described in the reports, no one would play Germans above BR 3.

Such as?

Because there was none.

  • Chess is not “that balanced”.
  • Chess managed to survive centuries and probably still has more players than this game, let alone when it had campaigns.
  • Interesting that chess is boring for you.

one of them
Mobile Suit Gundam Online(MSGO)
In the middle and later stages, in response to the protests from the crybabies,
The map has become completely symmetrical without any tactical or strategic functions
90% of the dual-camp characters for sale have the same equipment and skills.
The number of people dropped from 7,000 to 5,000 and finally to 1,200 or lower.
After operating for 11 years, it officially closed down in the first 2 years.

After quick research, none mentioned symmetric issues but rather:

  • Technical issues.
  • Most if not all new units being paywalled behind ridiculous prices to the point people called it P2P despite being free to play.
  • Niche brand, that was mostly known in Japan. Together with poor marketing. According to some former customers, it wasnt even available in many nations.
  • No crossplay.
  • Poor content delivery.
  • Painful grind.

But strangely, no one mentions symmetric balance.

Briefly introduce

They have 2 main camps (the roles and levels of both sides are not common)
50V50
Until the population is insufficient in the later stage, the two camps are mixed or against one’s own camp.

Their technical honing is sound
The room matching mechanism separates most people with skill gaps (except in the later stage)
Because the game population is so small that you need to put sandbags and experts together to have enough people.

Role acquisition
I kind of forgot about the original payment ratio.
Unless it exceeds 100 draws, the price should still be within a reasonable range (?)
New characters can obtain lottery tickets (paid props) through tasks and class rewards.
In theory, you can get 5 to 10 lottery tickets (or even more) every month
Old characters can be purchased in the store for silver (for free)
If you have enough thinking skills, newcomers can buy a complete squad in the store
And get lottery tickets while competing in a low-level environment
Usually newcomers can obtain at least 3 high-level main units within 1 month

They do have locked IPs
This is a pretty serious problem
Because their overseas agents are terrible guys
Large-scale illegal immigration moves to Japan after overseas servers shut down

Prime examples of frequent crying

The map is too large and complex
Let them not just be responsible for fighting monotonously and repetitively
Need to pay attention to the map and supplement the radar and intercept the sneak attackers
Because if they don’t catch the rats, their base will become Pearl Harbor.

Snipers and Mortars
Their uses are similar to those of electronic cotton fields.
But because there are too many abusers and experts, they are left out in the later stages and have almost no use (insufficient damage)

Protest against the other party’s unique role (the main content of the argument)
The Federation cries about Zeon’s extremely specialized machine (particularly powerful in some aspects)
Zeon cries about the Federation’s general-purpose machine (can satisfy all aspects)
From Acapella Crying to Unicorns (the more impressive part)
They always pretend to be innocent victims and keep protesting.
Until 20 of the 24 new characters each year have almost or exactly the same performance (the last 3 years)

late environment

Simplified automatic aiming mechanism and powerful weapons specialized in close range
Completely symmetrical and monotonous small map
There are not a lot of passages and bunkers and the maximum flight altitude is reduced
Only open or narrow one-way battlefield
Only powerful attack and support characters are left on the field to engage in close combat.
It’s basically impossible to see snipers and mortars
The game environment began to deteriorate rapidly and closed down within 3 years.

I have been playing this game for more than 5 years
It is daily to see people arguing and protesting about these things
and plenty of cryers during the official live broadcast
Maybe different people have different opinions
But from my point of view, the failure in the later stage was because the official referred to the opinions of these crybabies.
