I’m posting because we as a community really need to do something in order to protest Gaijin’s reveal of the Golden chest. Whilst most people could argue that the silver chest encouraged gambling since silver coins can be bought at the in-game store for real world currency, this new chest directly demands real gold coins purchased with real money in order to purchase and it’s got far better odds of netting weapons and squads than the silver one. Gaijin is manipulating FOMO of many vital sidegrades or even direct upgrades in terms of guns, vehicles and squads in order to force the player’s hand in giving them money and I only worry that sets the beginning of an increasing outlandish monetization scheme, not that it was necessarily under control beforehand but at least they had plausible deniability. The only thing the player hears from Gaijin from this announcement is “Fuck you and gimme all your hard earned money”. Please do not entertain them.

is something really needs to be done about the game and direction devs heading? Yes. but its too late.
in this era, and specificly our devs only understands 2 things, 1. money 2. Are you loyal soviet citizen or not.
So to make them listen or “fix” their faults ppl should start by not feeding them any money.
The less money they gain more work they will put into game. or they will simply shut down the servers and everyone will live happily but seeing people that enjoys that stupid box is a clear sign that no one wants to stop spending money, so everything will continue as always
You really don’t care even though they had to nerf boosters to stop exploiters from using them to farm chests to get more guns but now Gaijin says you can do that freely if you pay them beforehand?
Technically, they’ll continue buffing the Soviets and, in doing so, attract players from other factions to buy more items with real money. Lately, I’ve certainly seen quite a few people with premium squads, and the advantages are usually noticeable. Now, if they put truly effective weapons in the chests, that will only increase the pay-to-win aspect.

Well the fact that they replace the limited squads returning in the store, it is very frustrating
Cannot see the problem. If you like golden chests, you buy them, you know there is no guaranteed win. If you don’t like golden chests, you don’t buy them. There is no FOMO because all the stuff in them can be obtained in other ways, like buying premium squads etc.
Sure golden chests can me made better, e.g. with an algorithm that assures a squad after, say, 10 or 12 chests (in order to avoid very unlucky series) and more priority on squads and weapons vs. clothing.
So funny how it literally just infuriates some people… what? mad the complaining didn’t get them to scrap it?
And where did they say that? You do realize they returned some squads not too long ago right? And that will continue.
By replace do you mean easier access? I don’t think they had any plans on returning pz 3n, 109 g10 30mm or the regular pz 4j… because people would whine that they are just TT vehicles… without realizing the ability it gives you… just like tiger west.
Gaijin many months back nerfed exp boosters because people were using them to exploit matches to farm silver to farm chests so they could unlock more BP and event weapons. Those players were banned for rigged the odds in their favor. Now Gaijin basically admits that players can indeed rig the game to their favor as long as they tip the house a courtesy fee? Do YOU NOT SEE THE FUCKING HYPOCRISY!?
Yea but when you literally spent 4000 gold and jsut got customization items (not even a fucking swords) there must be a problem
If im paying 40 bucks to get rubbish when u can buy better stuff via not so stupid methods + is guaranteed woulndt a normal person just go ahead and buy something that at least is certain it works
Gold boxes are not the same as getting hundreds if not thousands of silver boxes… to get 9 man squad of rmn and i’m pretty sure one had 3 of them? Insane odds and had to buy a metric fuck load.
I bought tons of these boxes and barely got any good weapons… you’re still getting shafted with customization.

It’s still rigging the odds in your favor as long as you pay them. If you just dump a shitton of money, you could indeed get that many RMNs or whatever the fuck you want. It’s the same thing. Your idea of “support the game” is so stupid, it’s one thing to buy a BP or some slots, it’s a whole other thing to willingly gamble your money in a game of uncertainty.

funny thing is that i pulled out like 2 weapons 2 squads and 3 vehicle skins with 200k on standard boxes rather than my friend who spent 40 bucks and got only cosmetics XD ( no kidding)
thats what im talking about if we are going to spend real money and not everyone has that insane luck we should at least allow the players who spent their money on ts to get a better treatment
