Can we get more event rewards that are like the Chi-Ha Kai, Besels, and M2 Mortar? IE weapons that are not tied to one event squad but are rather individual items you can use in existing squads as you see fit?
Personally I find rewards like this to be far nicer to use and work around since it’s a full new gun in my toolbox then say, just a event squad that I might use once or twice for novelty
It’s better to get whole vehicle squad than seperate vehicle (cuz it can be locked behind some squad you don’t own yet), but with everything else I agree
A healthy mix is nice.
While it’s fun to get these kinds of items, it should probably stick to being variations on existing items. The Besal doesn’t make a ton of sense because it should be added to a Commonwealth faction down the line, either in progression or with a premium squad. The Chi-Ha Kai should have been a progression item because for a significant amount of time it was the only Japanese vehicle that could resist M13 fire, plus Japan could really use all the progression items it can get after even more low-tier American and British gear is thrown into the mix against them.
I think new skins with max stats for existing vehicles is probably the best way to go. Plus vehicle decals, and potentially even unique soldier cosmetic items.
British already have enough lmg, why should they add a lmg that never mass produced into the progression?
And your premium squad theory doesn’t make any sense? So you are happier to see that become paid item?

How about rewarding soldiers with unique looks and abilities that can be incorporated into existing squad?
It would be like a gold order, but they would have existing guns from the start with higher capabilities and upgraded to the maximum. Or maybe the guns they have are variations of the same performance as the existing weapons with unique skins. (e.g., a Mosina rifle disguised with a cloth covering). Their equipment can be removed and used by another person or equipped with a replacement.
For example, you could give them Soviet and German elite snipers for Stalingrad.
