The Sherman Fury Tank camo would be a nice event item …
It even comes with (very slight) armour bonus to boot
The sandbags in front are in truth flour bags. Ready to bake pizza crust.
Would be nice to have a 76 HVSS sherman in game. Like M4A3E8.
I found different info online, some say it was made after the war 1945. Can anyone clarify?
Builders should be able to build tank tents
would have been much better than the one with additional armor they added a bit ago…
For a moment, I seriously thought it was something else like a furry camouflage XD. "
Skin definitely sounds better; after all, when we get an event tank, it’s not very useful since it’s tied to a squad you haven’t even unlocked yet. That M6 will probably never leave my base, seeing as I’m not exactly thrilled about unlocking another 10 Shermans just to get the squad for it.
never thought of that but asked AI - so basically you could use a Gaijin designed Fury camo as long it was not copied from movie. The tank itself from WWII is not copywrited.
" For an Enlisted tank camo you make and use privately, a Fury-inspired Sherman is unlikely to cause a practical copyright problem. You can paint a Sherman to resemble the movie tank; the Sherman itself is a real vehicle.
If you plan to upload or submit the camo, be more careful. Draw the markings yourself rather than copying a movie still, poster, or another artist’s skin. Enlisted supports user-created content, but I could not verify a specific Enlisted rule approving a movie-exact Fury skin for distribution.
So: personal camo, probably fine; public submission, check the submission rules and avoid copied artwork.
he Sherman tank called “Fury” in the 2014 movie: the tank itself is not copyrighted simply because it appeared in the film. It is a real M4A2E8 Sherman. U.S. copyright law treats machinery as a useful object, though a separate artistic design on it may qualify for protection.
The movie footage, posters, and someone else’s photographs or artwork of the tank are a different matter. If you want an image for a post or graphic, the safest route is to use a photo you took or an original depiction of a Sherman tank, rather than copying a Fury movie still or poster.
So it did come out after WWII was closing. I am guessing it must have battled some last remnants of German armor.
" World War II officially ended on September 2, 1945, with Japan’s formal surrender, following Germany’s surrender in May 1945."
