What if we had fuel requirements for both planes and vehicles?
With the rebalancing of progression coming I could almost bet a there will be a 4th kind of currency in the game to deal with free cosmetics and other sundries.
If you play your vehicle squads a ton you will incur increasingly mounting costs. This will inevitable help balance the hotly contested use of tanks/cas in the game. it would now give a drawback to just spamming rocket planes and tanks.
Fuel can be broken down as follows
standard (no benefit, costs currency )
High octane (speed boost, higher chance of catching on fire , costs enlisted gold)
Conditioned fuel (burns slower, slower movement speed, costs enlisted gold)
Same basic system can be applied to the infantry with an addition to the “home base” UI of a mess hall. In said mess hall you can prepare periodic meals for your troops that would allow them to have the energy to go into battle.
The mess hall can be an interactive menu that you can see all your troops relaxing and eating in. Watching your paratroopers mingle with the engineers it could be really fun.
Negative affects of starving troops can be:
- loss of stamina
-reduced health pool
-increased ADS sway
Again, food can be broken down into several subtypes with differing costs and performances.
ABSOLUTELY NOT. This is a suggestion that adds nothing good and adds a major nerf to all vehicles and decreases their fun in usage substantially. No thank you
I agree with @LegoProdigy
That would bring only frustration for the players and (according to what you suggested) even more unnecessary paid content that could easily become P2W.
And problem with spamming will still be unresolved.
Planes already do have an invisible fuel limit; someone earlier was complaining about their yak running out of fuel because the minimum load is like 9 minutes. Tanks would outlast the battles.
I had no idea about planes. That’s interesting. Do you refuel when you go to the rearm point or nah?
The fuel tank on the tanks would probably outlast the battle, that’s why the drain would be culmulative, meaning every so many battles you’d have to refill. etc.
I’m glad you came by to voice your opinion but just because you disagree doesn’t mean the discussion ends there.
Also I don’t think it would make the vehicles less fun, it would just make it cost more too spam them constantly. I understand you don’t think that would be a worthy balancing method to CAS/tank spam.
Can we just call some moderators to clear this? He edited his post after reading people giving more and more absurd thing as making fun of such suggestions on discord. I personally consider this a spam and provoking negative emotions on forum.
