It makes sense to me to require some restriction of movement when someone is aiming, but originally you could move (aiming would drop) and then return to aiming when movement is done…at least in prone position.
Now it seems you are frozen in place in prone when aiming. Unless I am mistaken, this is likely unintended. At the very least we should be able to move (aim would drop) and then resume aiming after movement.
Agree. One of the previous post I wanted to mention that problem, but I didnt wanted to make new post for this…so here we are
But yeah…now the prone-aim combo is working now “not smoothly” as before…
The moveing while sideways is also harder now. I think would be better, if you aim (hold right mouse button) while proning, and move forward, that you still able to move sideways or forward without seeing through the iron sight.
Players no longer need to stop crawling when they want to aim. Aiming will automatically stop the crawling cycle.
Although I agree its a horrible addition especially when prone sniping and you want to readjust. You now need to drop your aim, move and then re-aim.
It was better before, where your aim would drop if you moved and then automatically re-aim once you stopped moving.
Yes, I think it is a bad change. If you hold aim, you could move to adjust and go right back to aiming. Now you are frozen when aiming, you can’t move out of the way quickly to avoid getting shot.
The slight delay is enough to get hit quite often. Moving quickly is key, locking movement is silly IMO. It is not as if we could aim while low crawling originally…
