Friendly players destroying structures (griefing)

I have more than once experiencd that a player from my team destroys Guns, Sandbags and Barbed wire, and it is not possible to see who he is so the griefing can be reported.

Is it possible to make that you get a message in the screen, telling who is destroying the structure, so you can report the griefing?

It is fustrating to loose a battle because of this behavior .

Out of curiosity… Could it be that you put those things in windows, doors or other places where players don’t need or want them? Because griefing goes 2 ways

I get what you are saying, but that is not the case.

I destroy mortar player ammo boxes if they’re sitting in spawn

For example this is the position we defend (not spawn)

Both ammo boxes and SandBags were destroyed.

My AA gun on a field got destroyed by a team mate as soon as i put it up.

Man I’d destroy that sandbag too. the ammo box could’ve been destroyed by an enemy too. Putting that thing indoors is bad. Place it around the objective because if they are already IN the house it’s too late for sandbags

Its inside a big bunker room with lots of space, and everyone builds there. because it protects from grenades ect. And i saw the guy destroy the ammo box, i also asked why and was ignored. Still, thats just an example, Also for the 3rd time, my AA gun on the BIG field were destroyed by a guy as soon as i set it up.

And i cant build around the beach bunker, it gets destroyed instantly.

The first couple of days since launch my rally points kept getting destroyed by allied players. At first I thought it was the other team, but then I kept seeing friendlies come up to the rally point and dismantle it. It’s possible they thought it belonged to the enemy, but it was annoying nonetheless.

That mostly stopped now, though. Or maybe I just stopped catching them in the act.

P.S. And then there’s the fact that rally points don’t always disappear as the frontline moves up. This is probably even more annoying as you have to go back there and destroy it in person if you want to build it again.

Sometimes that griefing can be allied AI soldiers, that are accidentaly ordered to dismantle buildings. I’m not saying that there are no human players just destroying your stuff, but there is also that possibility.

Hon, I never specified if it was during OBT
I literally haven’t seen any mortars since OBT started

Yes, it doesn’t say that.
That’s what I just said.

nope, turns out that i found a bug.
and i’m the Cunt here…

for some reason, when i tried to fill my ammo ( and i was during a match ), it did not worked.

now, that i double checked to verify that i was right, turns out you can get ammo for the mortar from the boxes.

i’m terribly sorry. my apologize.

Does ammo box refill secondary weapon now too? I thought that mortars are locked to that slot just like AT rifles.

they don’t.

( what a sourprise… )

here’s a video:

I meant mortars.

Like I said, AT rifles are locked to the second weapon slot, so I assumed that mortars are like that too now. And that slot was never refilled by ammo box. Yet you say that it is possible to get more ammo.

yes, with the mortar, you can get acess to rounds through ammo boxes.
