Firstly, this is not troll topic. After seeing that some African locals in tradicional uniform squad is cooming to Tunisia, it would be nice to have something like this also in Normandy, and including also woman French resistance fighters, French voicelines and some new weapons probably.
Kind of agree but at the same time: Fr resistance forces storming the beaches in civilian clothes is kind of meh.
Agree, they have really no business to be on beach storming maps or Airfield so this idea will be hard to realise to be historically accurate on all existing maps.
It would be cool in battles like liberation of Paris or other cities. Outside of that, not really.
Maybe Russian partisan premium squad would fit well in Battle of Moscow then.
what guns would they have
my suggestion would be a mess of mp40s, stens, maybe a few kar98s, all with liberators as a sidearm
Any form of Partisan forces would be awesome!
Free French forces just wore British battledress, with “France” shoulder patches, so would be quite indestinct from regular troops.
Still would be cool to have an Adrien helmet thrown in here and there.
Maybe exclusive faces (since US still has to stick to SU faces) and guns are enough?

Yeah well they should be designed to not be too OP … Just a fun unit to play around with … If you want to buy it …
Honestly the players who would buy and use this squad are probably the same ones who are premium with extra purchased slots so losing one slot for the battle is no big deal for them …
Also it’s a small 4 man squad so they probably wont last long once they are spotted
most poeple would probably buy them for the unique clothes and unique weapons, any extra gimmicks could bring in a new p2w discussion, which would ,with their track record, bring a quick nerfing into the ground
That’s why they should be designed at the outset to not be OP … First of all if they are spawning on the axis side they really have no team to support them so they will have to rely on stealth.
Combine this with the upcoming AI changes which allow AI to be more stealthy and they could be fun to play with.
Would be a very difficult squad to use but fun if you get lucky …

but for the same reason mentioned above, historical accuracy doesn’t exist in the first place.
so i think it can be a thing. captured weapon as well would make sense and interesting side grade for the ally side.
could work with 2/1 assaulters armed with mp40s,
2 soldiers armed with MAS ( bolt action one from the germans )
and 1 enginner with MAS 44 ( to not confuse with the ones above, this one it’s a semi auto rifle )
