In my opinion, there should be a free United States 101st airborne squads available all the time. This should be available without using gold (which usually costs real money) or real currency. This would make experiences for free-to-play players much more enjoyable.

The 505th and 501st should be made paratrooper squads we have plenty of assaulters without them in that slot.

Ironically their used to be a legacy squad for the american Airborne, but it wasnt actually an airborne squad in game - not really sure what they were trying with that one, i agree though airborne squads are very good in the right hands and you cant get one useable at all BRs its insane.

This stuff is just too special, DF will never let it go easily.
Just look at the German paratroopers at BR1 they’re selling—total OP. It’s a perfect example of pay-to-win.
I hate being restricted like this.
I can only suggest that DF should do it like the War Thunder battle pass crates:
in the next event, players who don’t have the old squads can pick one out of three, and those who already own the old paratroopers can get the new one directly.
But the paratroopers got nerfed so hard with the falling speed now, it’s painful.
I really miss the old days when we could land instantly,
not just floating up there as easy targets.

I highly disagree because everyone would just ONLY use paratroopers so yeah would be pretty stupid to see entire army falling down and entire convoy with planes
