Freaking missed the April Twitch drop to get the browning pistol, any chance it will be back?

I really think that it’s a cool sidearm my squad members can use, unfortunately, I missed the drop somehow. Do you guys think that it will return to the logistics?

Possibly, the Berlin one returned a few times, so others could too

I hope so. I have absolutely no clue how ‘Twitch drops’ work, but I’ll make a Twitch account if I have to in order to get a chance to obtain it. Hi Power is probably my most favourite 9mm pistol of WWII, and even more broadly, probably within my top 5 or at least top 10 pistols of all time. That Belgian who finished the design after John Moses Browning’s tragic death, whose name I may never properly be able to memorize, did a bang-up job with it. Technically the Walther P38 had features that were more modern/advanced, but that double-stack magazine… I regard that as more valuable than a ‘loaded chamber indicator’ or a safety that safely drops the hammer when engaged (personally prefer cocked-and-locked over decocked-and-locked with a double-to-single action first two shots). Ah yes, and the easy field strip of the P38, which might even be simpler than the Hi Power’s which itself was impressively simple with very few parts.

Both are impressive in their own ways, but having 13+1 rounds (or 14+1 in the case of Canadian-made John Inglis Hi Powers) in a world where the norm was either a 6-7 shot revolver or a semi-auto with 7+1 or 8+1… that’s kinda dope. Now granted, pistols play only a small part in the Military, and if a soldier has to resort to using a side-arm then things have gone to Hell in a BIG way and that pistol ought to be used in a manner in which it can be holstered ASAP after getting its owner a proper full-sized firearm in their hands. If you HAVE to use a pistol, meaning you can’t even retreat to safety and are forced to partake in combat with a pistol, it should be used to get to a proper firearm as soon as can possibly be managed. So yeah, having roughly 33-40% or so more ammunition without having to reload, in a PISTOL of all things? Come to think of it, it’s of limited advantage really, you want a rifle or SMG or LMG rather than a pistol, but I still think it’s so damn cool and it paved the way for the future of Military pistols which would standardize on double-stack mags with 15+ rounds of 9x19.

I’m gonna be in try-hard mode if the Hi Power becomes available again. I think I remember when it was available, but I still hadn’t come to terms on if I liked Enlisted or not so I wasn’t about to bother figuring Twitch out just for a pistol on a game I might not even like. Turns out, I DO like Enlisted, in spite of its flaws and how it tends to anger/frustrate/enrage me more than any other game I’ve played in years. Imma get that Hi Power if I can… it’s also the pistol that I’ve found to be inherently the most accurate to shoot with than any other I’ve handled, though the P38 is also capable of impressive degrees of accuracy. It’s the only pistol I’ve actually managed to score consistent hits with at 50m, though to be fair I’ve attempted that with very few other pistols, if any.

You just have to have a twitch account paired to your enlisted account. Then just watch verified streamers via twitch until the reward is received. Would be nice to see another twitch drops event.

Watching Twitch is boring. I hope they just stick to in-game events.

I “Watched” in background - as long as it’s not set to mute it counted.

Yeah, you can set the browser volume to 1% and it counts.
That’s what I did anyway

This. I still hated giving them views but whatever, got my pistol.

previous pistols like Astra were available again in later promotions, and I’m sure they will do drops weekend again. just have to wait for the next twitch drops weekend.
