One of my first nightly goals, “my fortifications get used 20 times”. So, I played four games and it currently says 18-20 completed. Ok, fine, however my first game alone it was used 19 times, and at least 8 every other game, so, in my estimation, I should have more then 20 fortification useages. 
Of course, I was never good in math, so I don’t know. I just played and didn’t pay attention until I had four played, I figured by that time I had met all my daily goals. I guess not. This was also in custom game mode, so maybe you don’t get the same credit, IDK. 
A question I have. I also never seem to get credit for my APC usage. When used, does it show up in the engineer column when used like building a spawn point? I know I never get credit for it when used in events.

Not that I’m aware of. Honestly, it should have it’s own column, that way we know exactly how many times it’s been used. And so that we don’t dump on someone for not building rallies when they’ve been spawning APC after APC.

I almost always use an APC, and I spawn there a lot as well, but even in events, when you get credit for building spawn points including APC’s, it never gives me credit for my APC usage, and I know it gets used because I’ve had to wait to spawn quite a few times.

Enemy getting caught on wire counts as a “use” for your engineer score and shows up in your in-game feed, but not for "Friends used you fortification “@@ times”
Also building something counts as 1 in your score but not for friends using it.

It does count - if you only use APC’s and not anything built by engineers you do get the score in the engineering column - but it might easily not be obvious if you are doing engineer building as well.
Someone suggested a column of its own - which would make it obvious, but is not really necessary IMO.
