Anyone else find it rather annoying that when flying in any plane on any map it is crystal clear skies high up but once you dive to attack the last 300 feet is a super thick dense fog? Any chance they can either just remove it. Its already hard enough to see anything. Mainly have to look for the flash of a tank shooting to even see it or just get stupid luck with a missile or bomb strafe run. Other players spotting goof luck with that either you have to beg for them to spot tank and such or they are just really bad or trolling.
I have noticed that too – at the moment you have to predict where the enemy might spawn and then spam that area with gun fire or rocket salvos.
It’s not fog.
There are a handful of white glass plates that aren’t fully see-through added to all planes in the game. This is done deliberately by the developers as they weren’t there during CBT.
For some reason, these plates turn almost fully opaque on planes like the Bf110, while staying clear on planes like the P-38
So, opaque on the German plane, but clear on the Allied one? That’s not suspicious at all!

P-38

Bf110 is you’re extremely lucky

Bf110 if you’re, uh, less lucky
Wow, what the hell is that all about?! No wonder I’ve seen so many German pilots nosediving into the ground since the OBT started!
As said, devs added random plates that tend to just randomly turn opaque.

It’s on other planes too
Is it on any of the Allied planes?
I haven’t tried enough planes to tell how each plane is affected, but I know the P-38, Bf110 and the plane above (@101737576 made that picture) have the plates. The P-38 is the only one not affected by the opaque effect, among the 3.
I will stick to tanking then, unless they reverse this horrible change.
I’ve heard the Bf 109 G-6 is also affected, but I do not own it to see for myself.
