Flaktowers in Berlin

That would be cool. Also there could be alternative objective that gives attacker more tickets for every killed civili… partisan who is wearing civilian clothes and is armed with pocket knife that is inside his pocket.

I thought he was with his unit in Austria? It is true that he was in Berlin to recover from losing his leg in February, but he offered to fly into Berlin on April 26 - so he wasn’t stationed there.

According to a Mark Felton video Hans was in Berlin on April 19th 1945 to met with Hitler, but he was with his unit in Prague on VE-Day May and they flew to American lines to surrender to the US forces. He does say that Hans was credited with 26 tank kills between April 19th and VE-Day, but not where the kills took place.

Yeah that’s pretty much what I read - and I imagine there was plenty of opportunity to attack Soviet tanks around Austria at the time!

Mind you the flak towers in Berlin did apparently take part in the ground battles around Reichstag, being able to shoot into the open areas like Tiergarten from the Zoo tower which was only 2km away - the famous photo of KO-ed soviet tanks at he Moltke Bridge may be the work of the 12.8cm flak from that tower:
