Fixing G41's Full Empty Reload Animation Means Buffing It's Reload Time

tru the damage made the gun secure more guaranteed kills but its more reliable to have faster reload if you(ME) suck at aiming and hitting a target. and u know whats more funny, the cei-rigotti rifle with 25 rounds that reloads with 5 clips is faster than than a g41 with 10 round with 5 clips

If we’re talking about Germany, assault troops would carry the MP41(r).
Up to now, semi-automatic rifles still don’t have the same tight spread they had at launch, so they can’t outfight submachine guns up close.

Yeah, when using g41 on a aggressive manner u have to watch out not to empty ur mag or u have to wait for 5 seconds reload to finish

what do you think of this possible future if approved new G41 reload animation. Its from the game called post scriptum aka squad 44. unfortunately dead game

The sad part is people have unanimously said they don’t care about how they reload animation looks they just want it faster. That the devs can fix the animation later, yet here we are. Not sure how long it will take, but from my understanding the people handling the animations are contractors. So we’re at the mercy of a temp employee working with the snail.

understandable but as a player that like this game and kinda addicted to it, i want this update

plus i have a bucket list of suggestion not yet posted i want me g41 improved or asking for a better alternative for g41 for BR3

In all honesty my solution is give the G41 reload buff as promised by the team doing adjustments, then in slot 4 of BR III we include a semi auto that’s mag fed right between G41 and G43. Same update we place a stripper clip fed reload SVT or other comparable weapon the the G41 before the SVT-38. This way both sides have stripper clip fed BR III first then later on they get mag fed BR III after. Same mag size and similar stats just one reloads with magazines the other won’t for BOTH BR III setups.

This could follow into a rifle centric update where those above are added, then we get a BR IV allies rifle and a BR IV Japanese rifle. This fixes most of the pre BR V rifle issues in the lineups. Something catchy like “Long range Fury” or something like that.

Japan would get something like the Type 5 (just the type 4 but more powerful in a few areas), Soviets get theirs, axis gets a much needed weapon and buff to the G41, and the allies get a quality rifle. 1 update can do all that and still sit right inside of what the devs normally do these days .

i wonder if they make the gunplay like post scriptum aka squad 44, will it change the gameplay?

Possibly, but I have a good solution for the German semi auto issue, the ZK-420-S. It’s a 10 round detachable mag fed semi auto. Comparable to what they have for the SVT-38, (after number crunching it needs a nerf, there’s not a single semi-auto in the game that matches anywhere close to its recoil at BR III).

It uses a long stroke gas piston, and a rotating bolt similar the the AK-47. It’s considered to be the German garand much like the type 4 is the Japanese one. With multiple models created, the 420-S variant had approximately 250 rifles by the end of the war made by in Czech by the Koucky brothers in 1945. The 420 stands for a design started in 1942, and carried to 1945. This weapon was semi auto only, the S variant was the detachable mag, and the regular 420 was the stripper reload.

This weapon has a 10 round detachable mag, heavy hitting 7.92mm x57mm rounds with some used in trials in 30-06. And swiss 6.5mm x55mm.

I have seen some live fire tests for this rifle as well. And some information exists with the forgotten weapons archive.

Funny enough it looks to be able to be used as a sniper as well. So that can give Germany another option there as well.

We had someone post this back in 2024, before they changed the forums haven’t seen it since as a live considerable submission, wouldn’t hurt to been seen again.

cool but nah. how long do we have to wait, i might die by accident or lost interest or the game dies before able to see germany getting a good BR3 semi-auto rifle. we currenlty have a g43 and zh29 ready to fix the disadvantage

Read this: it states that it is chambered for 8mm Mauser and .30-06 ammunition.
The weapon was not mass-produced and was not adopted by the military of any nation. In the late 1940s, there were active attempts to market the rifle for export (producing it in various calibers, such as 8mm Mauser, .30-06, and others), but it failed to achieve commercial success. Only about 200 units were produced in total for demonstration and testing purposes.
7.92×57 mm Mauser (8mm Mauser) — the standard variant for Czechoslovakia. .30-06 Springfield (7.62×63 mm) — the primary American cartridge, for which the rifle was tested in the USA and Great Britain. 6.5×55 mm Swedish Mauser — for demonstrations and trials in Sweden and Norway. 7×57 mm Mauser — popular in Latin American countries (e.g., tested in Argentina). 7.5×55 mm Swiss — a Swiss rifle cartridge. 7.65×53 mm Argentine Mauser — another South American caliber.

Transfer to the USA and Great Britain: The rifle was officially sent to the USA (chambered in the American .30-06 caliber) and Great Britain for testing and analysis. It was also tested in Sweden, Switzerland, and Norway.
Завод Zbrojovka Brno действительно отправлял винтовку ZK-420-S на государственные испытания в США и Великобританию, и происходило это в период с 1946 по 1948 год.

Deep Underground: The development of the ZK-420-S was carried out by the Koucký brothers in strict secrecy. Had the German leadership or the Gestapo discovered that engineers were using work hours, scarce metal, or state resources to secretly develop a weapon not intended for the Third Reich’s needs, the designers would have faced immediate execution or a concentration camp for sabotage. The Post-War German Connection: The only time this rifle had any link to Germany was during post-war trials. In 1946–1947, the factory produced a batch of ZK-420-S rifles chambered for the classic German 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge. However, the testing was conducted not by the Nazis, but by the military authorities of nations that utilized captured German weaponry and ammunition in the immediate post-war years.
It is most accurate to describe this rifle as a secret post-war development or a weapon of the Czechoslovak engineering resistance.
This rifle has no connection whatsoever to Germany or the Allied nations.

We can just simplify it by putting all 10 rounder Semi-auto rifles either with clips reload or mag reload.

Look up some information on this weapon; it’s suitable for a specific event or an event squad.
The ZK 412 (also known as the MK SS-42) was a Czechoslovak automatic rifle—or assault rifle—chambered for the 8x35mm Rapid intermediate cartridge, which was also developed in Czechoslovakia. It was submitted for testing to the German Wehrmacht by the Škoda company in February 1942.
The ZK 412 was developed concurrently with the ZK 423 machine gun between 1941 and 1943 by the Koucký brothers—Josef and František—of the Zbrojovka Brno company.
The ZK 412’s operating mechanism is based on a gas-operated system featuring a long-stroke piston and a rotating bolt with two locking lugs. A similar operating system had previously been used in the Lewis gun and was subsequently employed in the AB-46 and the AK-47 (not to be confused with the AK-46).

This looks sexy, its most likely be placed at BR4 unfortunately.

No, if you look at the stats, the StG 44 magazine actually fits the StG 5BR, and the rate of fire was respectable, too.
