If an enemy is hurt, wounded and you try to hit him or stab him to kill him most of the times it does not work is like hitting a wall and no kill.

I have more problems running into rooms shooting guys with my US Thompson or German Beretta M1 smg pumping lead into his enemies chest and he ends up stabbing and killing me. Of course, I get the assist when he dies later, but only in this game can you take a knife to a gun fight and not be dead.

Actually it also was/is an issue in some CoD games. At least according to memes (very scientific).
