I’m noticing how much higher the chance of downing someone instead of outright killing them with bolt actions in Berlin is compared to Moscow or even N*rmandy. Even with the 17 damage rifles a shot to the upper chest is merely downing people where in Moscow they’d be dead outright.
Please bring that in line with the other campaigns, please. Even in Moscow with 13-14 damage rifles like the 1907 or the k98 you’re OHK’ing people rather than downing them. In Berlin we’re downing people with the Lebel or Mosin M44L which should by all rights just kill them.

I play both campaigns back to back and Moscow is much more consistent with bolt actions one hit killing.

Are you hitting them specifically in the upper chest?
No I deliberately miss 9/10 shots as my religion forbids violence.
Well the point was, if you aren’t hitting them in the upper chest (heart and lungs) your chance to down instead of kill is much much higher.
They should also buff 7.92*33 Kurz when Berlin gets released two weeks later. 8 hit damage is not realistic, it should be able to down people within 200m.

If you read the thread, the damage is irrelevant to downing people.
My 17 damage M44Ls and Lebels are downing in Berlin, but my 15 damage Dragoons and 14 damage K98s are one hit killing people in Moscow.
I also think 8 damage for the StG is more than fine considering you can full auto it. And you don’t want it balansed))) by spastic recoil
From the same distance? Berlin has much bigger maps.

Can confirm. I also noticed that problem. It seems that they have special mechanisms for Berlin(for some reason maybe but I cannot understand). BF rifles should be able to one-shot.

Not really. Because I use Gewehr 43 every match for every soldier in Berlin it just isnt able to one-shot anyone in any distance. Always down. It’s a little bit annoying(but still okay since it only has 12 hit damage).

Yeah, I think it’s just me not really noticing downs with my G43 because it does it so often compared to bolt actions and one hit kills.

Same. Due to map size and map design PPsch doesn’t fit in Berlin at all. Stg is exactly what people need in these maps. I’m happy that the time PPD/PPsch dominates has passed.
